I recently received a video link about the P&W R-4360-63 that is the engine in the Frank Sanders Sea Fury "Dreadnaut". That reminded me that I was there at Chino the day of the first flight of Dreadnaut. I had been following the construction of the custom engine mount that Sanders was making, so when I got word of the first flight happening I rushed over to Chino just in time to see Sanders get into the airplane.

I apologize for the poor video and sound; I was using an old 8m.m. film camera. But something is better than nothing at all for such a memorable event.
