Those 5 supported the suspension of Eric Mays because he shed light on their corruption and stealing ARPA funds. I just learned about Mr Mays and it is sad to hear of his passing. He is inspiring and funny and stood for what is right. I hope someone will champion his cause and fight for the side of truth and righteousness like he did.
That is truly sad. He was a young man for the most part. We needed more people that would speak up like him and put people in their place. This is a lesson to us all, at some point put differences aside and show respect for the deceased. If they didn't get it right with him, they are among the living and will have to live with the guilt. Councilman Mays publically said he want to make it to heaven. Therefore, he held no grudges. He said what he said and moved on. Yet, there are still people in this world who hold on to stuff and mess while the other person is in peace and have a peace of mind.
