I am not superstitious at all, but I like to think that the results of the first pan of the year are indicative of how the year is going to treat me gold wise. And if that is the case, this year is going to be AMAZING! Because the results of the first pan of this year were AMAZING!

I am really looking forward to your adventures this year. Today is Feb. 21 so spring is less than a month away. We have had a very mild spring here in northeastern PA right along the Susquehanna River. We had a thunder storm, with lightning and small hail today and it's just weird winter weather. The ground isn't even frozen yet and it would appear that our climate is indeed changing. Anyway, can't wait to get out with you this year. I'm 73 years old and having trouble getting around but I can still go on adventures with Dan Hurd!!

This came up in my feed and I'm hooked,My Grandfather was a Miner/Geologist ,He Ran the Morningstar Mine in the now Protected Mojave Preserve in SouthernCalifornia, nothing like seeing that sparkle or that quartz you know its close.I spent many a summers working at that mine as young kid,nothing like the butter softness of pure gold.
