That can't be done. All the "isolated tracks" you find on youtube are taken from Rock Band and similar games where the game makers were given copies of the isolated tracks from the original master tape and they can be extracted from the game data. You cannot cleanly isolate anything from just the mixed version of a song.

Aw man I had no clue this got taken down for such a long time! I used this all the time when I was learning the solo... and then I uploaded a cover of it... then I got 2.5K views... then Don Henley and UMPG copyright claimed it...

Yeah, I was pretty bummed. I figured stuff that was for educational purposes would be fine. At first it was blocked only in a few countries and then all. The re-post of it for the gain issue some were having stayed except for a few countries, but the comments were disabled. Most all of the videos using the backing track have been blocked. It really sucks, I so enjoy viewing them and seeing how well everyone was doing at the solo. I didn't monetize it as it was for learning the solo and having fun learning and playing. @Apak Lu I started with using Audacity free app until I ran across Mixcraft. I still have a copy of mixcraft 4,5,6 and 7. I tried the version 8, but haven't purchased it yet. I do like the video editing that comes with it. It's okay for starting out. I still use Nero for the most part. Nero has a wave editor along with video editting. I been using both for years. It can sound good with an acoustic guitar. You have to get the bends to the right pitch or slide to the right notes. Lighter guage strings would help for acoustic guitars. Also using a cutaway acoustic helps to reach the higher notes.

+google user I had the volumes up on both due to the screen capture software used for the video was recording it at a very low volume for some reason. The guitar software is Acoustiac Mixcraft 6.0 they have a trail of the software on their website. Glad you like the video and thanks for the comment. ツ Sorry if it doesn't sound good through headphones, I haven't tried listening through them yet.

Bryan Hackett There are many websites which can do this, my personal favourite is FLVTO.com , you just copy the URL:ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-agMAbXAY40Q.html and just paste it into the box, enter and then in about 10 seconds you will be able to download it. From there you can put it into your itunes folder under music (Music>Itunes>Itunes Media>Music>And then put it into any folder.) Hope this helps.

Most of the copyright issues I believe are from the music companies. I have the same issues with the backing track video. It's blocked in several countries including my own. I don't use Instagram so I can't say for sure. There are several solo covers on RU-vid and at times some get blocked also. I'm glad you can at least use the backing track to solo too. Hi R&B, Sorry you are having trouble with this. The music companies are the ones that are blocking certain videos. It sounds to close to the original music. Depending on which country you are in. I can only suggest that you do an appeal through RU-vid. I have the same issue in the US The backing track was blocked completely. I wish I could help more with this problem. If you choose to appeal and it's denied you could consult legal help ie an attorney. I hope this helps. Thank you for using the track and I hope you at least enjoyed it. Hi, Back to ya! You can download this video using a free plug in for firefox like Flashgot. Once downloaded you can extract the audio and use with any desired software or free download like Audacity. Just use Google search and type Flashgot and install. Google search for Separate sound from video and that should come up with a few choices. Google Audacity for the download. Hope this helps, if not send a message and I'll figure something out. ;-)

The best advice I can give on string bending would be, what ever finger you're using to bend with get another or as many as you can behind it to make the bend. If you're using the ring finger put the middle behind it and use both for the bend. If needed add the index finger also.

You can check and see if there are any youtube video downloaders available. There used to be some on the Google Play store. I'd check there and see. If you find one it might separate the audio and video even. You'd be able to download this video or audio that way. The other way would be to figure out a way to send it to you.

I uploaded this video like 9 years ago. A lot has changed since then. I've had copyright problems with it several times. I filed appeals a few times and it was still blocked. It's still to this day blocked in several countries including my own. I don't really know of any tricks around it. Just really glad they allowed me to continue having it up and available. I never monetized any video and any the have copyright issues can't be monetized at this point. Anyway I'm glad that you were able to view and use it! It's a good learning tool. I might be able to, but the computer I used to create the track crashed on me a little over a year ago. I'll see if I can find and pull the files off the hard drives. It may take a while. The drives are 2 tb's each and were pretty full of files.

If you did a cover of the solo using the track it was most likely the music company that had copyright issues. I have no control over that. It's up to RU-vid and them weather to unblock or not. You would have to file an appeal. Hope that helps.

I had that problem with a lot of different brand strings. I now use SIT s1046 light. I've had them last almost a year with daily playing. On my les paul and semi hollowbody guitars I also changed to roller bridges. It helps to clean the strings after each use too, to prolong the life of the strings. Keep Rockin' 🎸🎼🎵🎶👍👍🙂
