My neighbors listen to it every day BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO CHOICE! Play it with a huge fan in front of me on the Balcony and pretend I'm on stage. When I'm in a really good mood I shout "Thank you" to random passangers passing by

You truly feel like an absolute god when you've learnt the few first bars of the solo and you play it on top of this xD

I just solo'd for nearly six minutes, and it felt like 1. That was the best guitar playing I've ever done. Put your earphones in, listen to this and play along through your amp and it really makes you feel like you're David Gilmour! Amazing

all i do is improv. been playing by ear on and off 33 years i cant read music and never had lessons but i feel every note from this song in my soul david gilmour is 1 of the greatest of all time guitar players he can make you cry with his guitar . this backing track rocks!

I combined the best bits of the album version with the PULSE version. I am now immortal. Bow before me.

Thanks to this track I am learning the solo as well as getting to know my fretboard in such a Gilmourish way. And loving it.

what is it about this song/backing track ? You start soloing on your guitar and into the song a minute , you feel like a rockstar. How it was composed or the thoughts were put into this song ......I can never really understand. Beautiful piece of endless music :)

yup, and it's about damn near impossible to make a dramatic mistake. The most important thing about Gilmour's style (in my opinion) is he's constantly using the guitar's nuances and ghost notes not only cuz it sounds cool, but to sort of let the guitar have a say in where he's going to tear it up. If you look at his hands, its as if he's got invisible mittens on. He's just sort of having his way with the neck. Very unique, and very practical for achieving that unmistakable sound.

Does anybody have just this outro uploaded WITH Gilmore's lead solo? Along with "Layla" & "Purple Rain", this is one THE absolute BEST song outros EVER! An outro SO good that it makes you want to skip over the rest of the song to get to it!

Bm pentatonic and if you're creative you can slip in an Em arrpeggio now and then but don't sweep it pick it out with some emotion and a bend here and there. Thanks for this track. Great jam.
