Love the go find I have a 44 live in pa. Usa ...been using the go find 44for about 16 mo's... Fond a I carat marquise cut woman's gold ring...literally shook from excitement. ...iim a minelab guy Now... def the best novice detector.. get one if your new even a used one... The digital description screen isn't accurate but using the upper red and green led lies and the high pitch alert works great... Also has one of the best pipnpont modes good luck
Thats all it is really, a starter machine, for a beginner or kids just getting into the game, it would be ok to keep in the boot of your car or take on trips away with family to have a potter about, but its not a serious detector and wouldnt compete even against midrange machines. The full opinion on the machine will be shown soon.
Hi Dan & Neil, interesting video, good to see the new machine in action. Even as an entry level unit I would probably make it hedge fodder pretty quickly based on the one way signals and crappy multitones on the same target. Sorry if it sounds harsh but even my kids would tire of it and miss most of the targets LOL. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to your videos. Cheers & HH Ger.
Dear Neil and Dan. Still waiting for for "the full one". Met up with a mate tonight, he has the 60. Says its a load of shit. Just good for air tests and folding up. No depth at all and flimsy construction. No good on the beach. Can't wait for your review. Don't forget arms folded if its a good detector. So I have heard JA having to Gofind the refund book quite a bit with these.
Dear neil and Dan, thanks for your reply. You know what its like. You get a nice signal sounds like a nice coin. Then you dig down about a foot and its a Horse shoe. Thats what I was asking. In your next video give a secret sign. If that detector is shyte one of you have your arms unfolded. If you think its a good detector have your arms folded. I know some people don't like to upset ML. Especially if they have the hat and bag.
Lol Stooge, we have nothing to do with Minelab,if you look on Minelab websites and blogs etc you will not see much of me at all, i just use there products, we do however support Joan Allan and assist in there events etc, they are a fantastic supplier and have amazing aftercare. I use Minelab because i have not yet found anything better and until something better comes out i will keep on using the brand. Whatever i have wrote in the past or write about in the future about Minelab machines i can prove so i have no probs at all. By the way i have not dug a horseshoe or part of one since i first got the Explorer S many years ago and i search permnantly on full sens and gain in multitone conduct on smooth. The Go find is a capable starter machine, but the more i have used it the more i can get out of it, so i could quite easily have it in my tool kit as a take anywhere you like machine. Go anywhere and go find lol.

Dear Neil and Dan. I noticed that quite a few of the US stooges doing these tests on the GO FIND are doing it with the targets laying on the surface. Is there a problem with buried objects? also you may try rubbing some mud on those shafts to see if they get jammed up. Give that 3mm headphone socket a few good tugs. These were a big problem on the explorer in the past.
The only thing thats nice about this machine is its design. Minelab is known for its slow recovery, but this one beats all the other minelabs in slowness. They claim to have the newest technology, but why is it they cant build a fast machine? And why the concentric coil??
Robert van Eerde Its not a concentric coil. Its a single coil like a BFO or Off res or pulse. Never been any good before. Just cheap to knock out in far eastern sweat shops
I really wanna like this but every video I see , it takes ages to pinpoint the find, my bounty hunter fast tracker I only have to do a cross type sweep to centre the find and its pretty reliable, such a shame as this would be ace for people like me without a car
Not true in the slightest. Ace series machines are trash they false on any ground minerals. Basically any cheap machine from Tesoro or fisher blows the ace series out of the competition.
Hi Stooge, as of yet i dont have a minelab tat on my arse, but have been thinking about it, when i do get one you are most welcome to come have a look !
