​@@bliss6495nah, more like Java man. I already tried Bandung public infrastructure, it's pretty great, the buss system is still new I think since it's still complicated but it's very great. Their train station is way more good than New York, sooo damn clean, no rats no homeless no offended people, perfect. Idk about another island tho, but I heard it's not quite good, so I guess it's centralized on Java.

As an Indonesian, I am sure that what the driver really meant was "Pardon/Excuse me". He was just mistranslated it because the word "sorry'' (maaf) in Indonesia could also be used as "pardon me/excuse me" So, basically he wasn't sorry for anything, he just want to be polite.

TBH Indonesia is still behind our neighbors when it comes to public transportation because everything is politicized, to the point where many dumbf**k people think that infrastructure building is not important 🤷‍♂️ But I assume you’re from the Philippines, so you know how it is.
