First Impressions: KINGSONG S16 PRO 

Another great review Scott. I have the S16 pro and my regular ride is a V11. Comparison wise the S16 has faster acceleration and agility but being 16” versus 18” I felt more stable at high speed on the V11 but this is coming from a 58 yr old intermediate level rider who I doubt will ever go over 45kph. I think it’s a great wheel for people who need an urban cruiser with less weight and ride more casually.

As a first time beginner, I was able to master my S16 Pro in a matter of an hour with little scratching....lol. With the Bluetooth speakers on the ride is a blast. Thanks for the great review and the info on your speed & Tilt back settings.

It is also necessary to warn customers that there is no clear indication on the wheel to differentiate the PRO version from the version... Some RU-vidrs even pointed this out, they had ordered the PRO and ended up with a version normal with stupidly "PRO" handwriting on the box...so the lack of KINGSONG serials should be reported to customers. It is necessary to be CERTAIN of the correct version ordered.

Some referred to the design as a Mailbox, but it seems to be a ok suspension wheel for the money I still would not replace my 16S with the S16 as its 18kg vs 31kg and I have the S22 at 36kg for when I want to do the suspension rides.

Nice review 👍 I have a question about the 'X' suspension system. Is it durable enough compared to.. Let say Veteran Patton's fast ace suspension ? I worried about several peace of white rollers... Looks so 'plastic' 🤔

Hello, I have seen videos of almost possible cut offs of the normal model of the S16. I hope the PRO model doesn't have that problem.

Can you please have both the pro and non pro together. I ordered one from ewheels and packaging sticker says ks-s16pro but the printed label for shipping says s16 pro or s and the Manuel says model ks-s16.

I'm curious about the electronics. Think that could be the weak point if there is any...tire good, sliders are latest gen...what else could go wrong 😂, bolts maybe. What's the use case for this one? Beginner yes, compact so portable, some off road. Just lacking the range and high speeds and stability of larger tire on the fast street wheels right. Why is the wheel so much "fun" as you say?

What differences did you feel riding, comparing the S16 and the S16 Pro? Does the extra 200W and 10 km/h really make a significant difference? Thanks for the review!

The price is very expensive on this site...on others sites it costs near to 2 200 dollars for the pro and near to 2 000 dollars for the regular.

Why are you all positioning this wheel as for children and teenagers, beginners? This is nonsense. Apparently simply because you are a store and want to sell more expensive and powerful wheels, but this one is small compared to them and you really want to expand the target audience. But it's still a fucking 35 kg wheel with a top speed of 60 km/h. Just a couple of years ago, such characteristics would have been far from being for “beginners.” And in 2024, not everyone needs a maximum speed of 90 km/h and a range of 200 km on a single charge.
