@@LocdNLettos lol well I can’t wait to be “old” so I can have grey locs. I’m not that “young” myself, but only have a few greys peppered here and there. I’m trying to get on your level! In the meantime, I color blonde. When I get more I’m letting the grey show! It looks so good on brown skin!
@@LocdNLettos you are naturally beautiful not old that number means nothing lol..im 45 with a head full of grey I just decided to give up the chemical dyes and products unless they are all natural..I am now a semi freeformer 1 week in lol..
Hello! RU-vid suggested your videos as ones that may be of interest to me. OMG I cannot believe this video came to me. I'm 56 years old and 8 months loc'd. The locs right above my ears in the front are turning the same color as your locs. When that intense whitesh gray came in (seemingly overnight) I seriously didn't know how to feel about that. But now that I see your entire head this color, I say "LET IT GO"!!!! Mature, elegant, and GORGEOUS with a capital G. Thanks so much for sharing! Future loc goals for real!! 😍🤩😍
So happy I found you, youngster🤣. I'm 62 and just started my microloc journey. I'm about to have my 2nd retie next week. I have very soft, fine, curly hair and lots of grey hair. I'm having a lot of slippage and unraveling so I am so happy to have found someone with "greytness".
Wow! Lol I was JUST watching a NappStar video with you and said "wow this woman's gray locs are gorgeous! I wonder what it's like having gray locs". (RU-vid searches gray locs) then BOOM! here you are😂 I'm so glad you have a channel and now I'm following!
Thank you thank you, you have saved my life,it took forever for me to believe in gray locs I've been looking for 2 months for gray hair liked myself before I start my own loc journey all I seen was black hair, blonde hair etc... everything's but gray I'm so glad I found you ❤ now I can start my journey it might take 1 month lol to finish but it will get done🌺⚘🌺⚘🌺⚘🌺⚘🌺
1st of all, you are absolutely gorgeous! 2nd, thank you so much for sharing. I just ordered the gel, and I am so glad to know that the product holds up to a good sweat. 💌
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I went from a two-strand twist to just locking my hair now. I am 12 days in, and I love it. I'm just not ready to pull my scarf off yet. But a consultation is coming up for the next phase: how to wash them from a protected style. Wish me luck. I am completely all grey from a young girl. I can't wait to see the results in a few months. ❤
Finally!! I'm so glad i came across your video! Someone with hair like mine #grey...i deeply feel you on the sweat thing, i sweat really hard! Your hair is so beautiful, i can hardly wait until my hair is long! Oh yeah...the grey hair is VERY disrespectful and ornery!!
First of all, you and your hair are gorgeous! I've had my locs for a little over 3 years and they're doing well but I've decided to stop coloring them and let them be gray..... this transition is going to be a STRUGGLE! But I'll get there. I'm just happy to see my beautiful sisters out here rockin' the gray but not looking old which is what I'm worried about. I keep telling my daughters that just because I AM a grandma doesn't mean I have to look like a grandma! LOL
You and your loc situation is friggin fabulous, lady. Your gray (i will call them sparkles of light) is awe inspiring, honey. I sparkles are tryna come thru with a sword daring anyone to fight them, LOL. Your locs inspire me to embrace mine. I just hope that if they gon come thru then do it with full force. That salt n pepper thang is not enough. COME…THRU! LOLLLL
Okay first, your hair is absolutely beautiful and I'm loving that you embrace it... second you are beautiful and I hear sweating is good for the skin especially working out and lastly, thank you for sharing this video and for the info for where to get the good products for our locs...be Blessed sistah 🙏🏿💪🏿✌🏿👑💯
I’ve been to Napp Starr Hair Salon not sure if it’s the same salon NYC .Also I love your Locs . Mine are also grey. But the last Salon was too ruff for me . I’m going to try another one for maintenance and repair
I love your gray locs. I'm 56 and have been loc'd for almost 2 years. I have a few gray strands and I don't plan on dying my hair. What type of shampoo do you recommend for gray hair. Thank you.
First of all..flawless beautiful sis. Yes, I sweat!! So this is good to know, and dying at "disrespectful " 🤣. Yes, my Grey's and back..just disrespecting..lol I can't swoop..I can swoooo. Lol
I love your locs....I am just starting my loc journey almost 4 months in trying to figure out how to keep them moisturized my hair is very dry...please can you give me some tips on how to moisturize..I have gray hair also..
NappStar has a hydrating rose water mist and their oils are phenomenal! I usually spray and seal every couple of days. Always, always sleep in a scarf or bonnet and drink plenty of water. ❤
@@LocdNLettos Thank you.. I will be looking up that brand of rose water, recently I was using rose water.. but stoped right after my second month in with locs ..Looking forward to the day my locs flourish..Thanks again!
I’m glad I seen your review! I got the gel before I seen this but I haven’t use the gel yet! Now I can’t wait to do my retwist!🤗 Also, your locs are gorgeous!😍
How did that work for you? Did it leave any visible residue? Just beginning my loc journey and because I don’t want them to look “dry”I am very concerned about what to use.on my locs.
Welcome to the Loc Life!! It doesn't leave any residue especially on my grey. That's always a concern. I've used a few gels. My favs: 1. Homemade Flaxseed - No residue. Nice shine. 2. Nappstat - No residue. build up 3. Taliah Wajid - No buildup. Strong hold
Awww... I always say not every product works for every head of hair. I just tried organic flax seed gel and it seems to be working well. I am posting the video right now. Thanks for sharing your experience! :-)
Beautiful, my gray is just disrespectful to my locs they refuse to be United with the rest of the locs, it's like they are running away from the loc it's supposed to be with but ima keep trying to woo them into obedience.
