I was back and forth between this and the rebel v3. After watching I’m happy I stuck with my gut and went rebel just to have one trainer non plated of some sort

I love my Propel V4, I see it as the little brother of SC trainer! Yet, it definitely has a different ride but the price of it, you just can’t beat it!

Which shoe would you pick between this one or the Fresh Foam X EVOZ v3? I really like the look of the Fresh Foam but not sure if it’s any good. Completely new to running and running shoes, thank you for this video!

Probably for those who want their first NB shoe but don't have a big budget. Maybe great for teens where you don't want to spend a ton of money only to have them outgrow in weeks.

Kinda wonder how a shoe rotation built around the Propel V4 looks like: Daily: NB Fuelcell Propel V4 Easy/Long: ASICS Gel-Nimbus 25 Intervals/Tempo: Saucony Endorphin Speed 3 Races: Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 What do you guys think?

I have all these but the Mach 4 instead of the Gel Nimbus 25. Propel works for intervals as well, just less propulsion in the foam.

What are your thoughts of Propel v4 vs Rebel v3 vs, Supercom Trainer? I LOVE the Rebel (v2) and bought v3 in same size. The v3 is shorter in length and my toes jam against the front. So sad, I just can't run in them. I already buy half size bigger in running shoes and hate to go a full size up just to make this shoe work. Same thing with the SuperComp Trainer. My standard size had same issue so went a full size up, ended up with heavy clown shoes so that's also a no go. Wondering if the Propel 4 can bridge the gap between every day trainer and longer distance/marathon shoe? I plan on buying another pair of my beloved Rebel V2s.

'Other' reviewers have said the midsole foam IS the same as in the SC Trainer but different from the Elite and Rebel. Now I'm confused.

It’s the same foam. Fuelcell. But it feels different and looks different in their various shoes.

@@RunLikeHeller After your thorough review, I can't actually find a good reason to better choose a brand new version of a midrange (fairly) cheap shoe vs. a 6 months old high end one after a nice discount, given the same price. Totally agree with @i.p2808.
