I’ve watched 6-7 of your videos already. The best parts of each video is to hear you explain some facts and a little story about the places your visit ❤.
Never been to Athens , so thank you for the insight ... been to the Greek Islands of Corfu and Rhodes though ... looking forward to your next destination
Visiting Athens next month. I read this time not busy at all. Be nice to take picture of the Acropolis with no people in the background 😍. Weather permitting Ofcourse. My umbrella and weatherproof jacket is ready 😊.
Thessaloniki is less touristy. Litochoro is great but Greece is more of a summer destination. A lot of shops near the beaches are already ending their season. Kalamata still has nice weather
First time i see your video, my compliments 👏 you are very clear in explaining and funny too. Oh no, that’s not a fridge 😅 thank you for this very nice video. I will visit Athens this year 🇬🇷 have fun and keep on the good work ❤
We are planning our first trip to Athens and I came across your vlog. What a positive and happy reportage, Gabi :) I feel so excited about every part of the journey, including a ride on a metro :D Thank you for showing us around, feels like summer is back on my side of the screen :D Ofcharisto e grazie!
good honest review i was there 2 month ago i go every year happy you enjoyed one advice spend more time go to the islands Athens is just small part of Greece
Great vlog! I'm watching your video for the first time, and i'm really impressed how good this is. Seems like you've been doing this no less than 10 years.
Athens used to be in the 1950 - 1960 ‘s even better looking according to short stories told by elders. There used to be even more wonderfull neoclassical structures (of the 19th century) but due to massive reconstruction without any planning and without timetables many of them were demolished and replaced by mainly horrible apartment buildings. Thus Athens lost quite a piece of its character. Ι will sound morbid but a visit to the 1st cemetery of Athens where many famous Greeks are buried like Melina Mercouri Andreas Papandreou the great benefactor of Greece Georgios Averof Archbishop Xristodoulos and many others.
Thank you for visiting beautiful Capital of Greece !!The next time you visit Greece, go to Thessaloniki and the old Pella, where Alexander the Great came from!! I hope you have a great time and enjoyed the hospitality!!🇬🇷🇬🇷❤
Avoid the crowds at the Acropolis by buying your entry ticket online, and going as soon as the gates open. One to two hours is enough time to visit, but be sure to go to the nearby Acropolis Museum.
I spent a few weeks in Greece in 1990. We drove to Athens for 1 day (6-7 hours drive in the night) to see the Acropolis mostly. Guess what? It was closed!!! Only on that one single day, the staff was on strike 😆 had no chance to return so far.
The reason that you meet such full of people in the acropolis it's because we as local people know when the entrance is free and it's free all over Greece, acropolis and museums that's why we visit that's places in that unique day😉
Hi! First of all, as a Greek person, I wanna thank you! Second, were you alone? I will go to Madrid alone in 5 months. I’m a little nervous, but also excited! I’m 20 years old and I’ve never traveled alone before, but I believe that it’s gonna be fun! So I bought my airplane tickets a month ago. I just wanna ask if you enjoy(ed) traveling alone! Greetings from Greece! 🇬🇷❤️
Thanks so much this video was extremely helpful! I’m trying to plan a trip and wanted to get a feel on Athens :) Your also very sexy so that helped too❤
@@athenarockabilly6245 I’m not mentioning the Parthenon I’m mentioning as many others that the city of Athens is a horrible place to visit very filthy, bad sidewalks, drugs all over seems like it’s been abandoned
Love Athens and the Greek culture/civilization but hate the Graffiti splattered on many buildings in Athens..discusting ..why doesn't the Government do something to eliminate this eyesore!!!!!
