So happy you visited the Holocaust museum. Did you see Shalekhet (Fallen Leaves) the 10,000 faces with open mouths? That was so moving!!! Did you go up into the TV tower? We loved our visit there thanks for bringing us back! ~Cara 😊
@@FinMeg Here is a description. If you go to our Berlin video you’ll see it. Very moving and when you walk on them it makes clanging noises. Shalekhet - Fallen leaves, 10,000 faces punched out of steel and distributed on the ground of the Memory Void, the only empty or "voided" space of the Libeskind Building that can be entered. ~Cara 😊
There’s sooooo much to do in Berlin we barely scratched the surface! Also our only day we were free for museums was a Monday, and most of the museums close on Monday haha. An excuse to go back? 🤷♀️
Noticed a few escooters in your footage. Any reason you guys don't use those to get around rather than walking everywhere? We recently bought a cople of scooters and they are great to get around new places on and a heap of fun to ride.
Yess they were everywhere in berlin!! So so popular in europe but honestly the reason is they aren’t as cheap to rent as you would think especially in berlin and also we like to walk! Fin sister used one for 20 minutes in berlin and it cost her like €17!!!! It was crazyyy 😳😳
Think it was one of the Mercure hotel, can't remember the exact price but it wasn't too bad plus a good good location for sure 😁😁😁 make sure to check out some of the asian restaurants near by there amazing 😋 hope this helped 😘
thank you so much! we're planning to visit Germany this year, and i have been watching your Germany vlogs since morning. This is so helpful! :)@@FinMeg
Love the vids gang. I gotta ask it. I’m American as fuck and don’t speak a lick of German. Would you say it’s easy to drive in Germany? I’m going next summer for a little 2 week vaycay.
Heyyyyyyy 👋 thank you so muchhhhh ❤️ honestly we’re Irish as fuck and only know the basic hi goodbye thank you etc don’t worry everyone speaks English there 😊 in terms of driving, for us it was a little nerve racking at the start but honestly after a while it’s fine and fun to say you drove on the autobahn 🚗 🤙🏼 here’s a link of us driving on the autobahn for the 1st time 😙 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yDnweXpE3LM.html
