This is the Kia EV9 seven-seat family electric SUV, and it’s guaranteed to turn heads on the school drop-off run if our week with the Blue Meanie was any indication.
The Kia EV9 is a new generation of electric vehicles from the Korean car company targeting families with its seven-seat capacity and SUV versatility.
It’s not the first seven-seat EV offered for sale in Australia. That honour goes to the Tesla Model X, which sadly was dropped in 2020. Mercedes-Benz also has a couple of seven-seat SUVs in the EQB and EQS, but the former is much more modestly-sized and the latter is more than twice the price of the dearest EV9.
