Whosoever was with Phil at Mumbai ka Raja, Shashank, you need to really know and learn about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Maharaj British k waqt nai the. He destroyed the Mughal Empire not British Empire. Feels sad to see that young guys in India don't know about the most brave king our Indian history has ever seen.

Wow, I got a panic attack just watching how crowded this place was! OMG! I cannot imagine being squished from all sides in a huge crowd. Scary. Glad you survived this. India is so overwhelming.
You are very simple, I like your videos more than other foreigners. You always show the postive side. You come to North East India to get a new experience. North East India is very different from mainland India. state like- 1) Arunachal Pradesh (2)Assam (3) Sikkim (4) Meghalaya (5) Mizoram (6) Manipur (7)tripura (8) Nagaland.🙏
Chhatrapati shivaji maharaj fought with mughals, Portuguese, Dutch & with Britishers at a single point of time so he is correct & you need a correction...
Who says God doesn't exist, come to India, God's presence will be felt in every living and non-living thing here, also definitely felt in the sweet people of India. Just immagine you have come so far from your country, to meet God Ganapati Bappa, and he gives you sweet prasad of modakas, now pray to Lord Ganapati that all your wishes be fulfilled. Ganapati Bappa Morya, Mangalmurthy Morya...❤🙏❤
& the festivities have started, Ganeshotsav in Mumbai/Pune/Hyderabad will be followed by Durgotsav ( Durga Pujo) in Kolkata. You r welcome here as well
Hey Phil thanks for making such raw videos I am from a different state and watching this festival through your lens like a tourist is really beautiful. I have never been to Maharashtra and really wanted to visit there once during this festival. Although I don't like crowds but it's a once in a lifetime Darshan.
Lalbaugcha Raja means, "The King Of Lalbaug".Raja means king..Lalbaug means The Red Garden.cha means of. Here referring to Lord Ganesh as the King of Lalbaug.
Phil according to Hinduism there is god inside every one and everything that is reason we pray everyone from stone to water every thing present on earth because inside everyone there is some energy of God . Just don't look Ganesh as clay idol and pray for supreme power through that idol and also learn the teachings of lord Ganesha, krishna and Shiva ❤ . Reason we do namaste is we are bowing to god inside you with highest respect
The concept of idol (Murti) making is not only art but also creation, preservation and destruction. An artist first makes the backbone of the idol with bamboo then uses Hay (plant) to make the structure. Then takes clay brought down by the Rivers and makes the body of the God. This is how in ancient times murti's were built. You may also see murtis of stones, metals etc. Therefore the whole making of the murti is basically natural. It also depicts the creators process i.e. artist. The artistic quality and intuition we have as humans. And the process of how connected we are with our natural being. Because if you look closely at an artist from all over the world, creation is a process done alone. Similarly God is our creator, the bones , nerves and our muscles are made by him. We are celebrating the artist's mind of creation. The consciousness and sub-consciousness of creation is God himself. We see God through the Murti that the artist made i.e. we see God through the eyes of the artist and creator. Human civilizations have started with creation of an artist either be the cave paintings or language or fire making or egyptian pyramid etc. even writing is a form of art. After the creation is done we preserve it, celebrate it, venerate it. Therefore same like how the God created Earth, humans , animals etc. yet he gave us the things to sustain ourselves all along the food chain and even to all living beings on Earth. Thus to sustain the Murti the artist paints on he makes the creation on the reflection of the murti as his own depiction and connection between human and God and shows it to the world. Here the conscious mind of the artist and the subconscious mind of the devotee meets by prayers and helps the devotee to picturize God in front of him specially in the times of need and also has a centre of attention to the artist's creation in the image of God. We give the creation food, water , flowers treat as if God is our guest in home and lives as another family member. How we think God is our family member to treat him as such ? Well here when the artist is creating the murti after bringing it to the temporary structure ( pandal) that you visited the eyes of the murti is drawn. Which means its an all-seeing eye. At a certain auspecious time and day according to our Hindu calender the priests tend to do puja (veneration) to do pran (life) pratishtha (to give ) therefore in a way the devotees such as even the priest does pran pratishtha (chanelizes life into the murti to make the murti alive ). Believers belief the murti to be alive, while others just see it as just murti it depends through which mind you are seeing the murti. When creation and preservation is done the artist realizes it needs to maintain a cycle, i.e. the cycle of life and creativity, otherwise the universe will collapse. Life in its form is a cycle and even the universe has its own beginning, preservation and destruction to start another cycle. Therefore the murti of the artist needs to have visarjan ( immersion) into the waters and nature where it came from. So that the artist can rebuild its creation once again next year with new outlook to life, preservation, and death. 1) Creator God in Hinduism = Brahma / Pitamaha/ Virinchi / Prajapati / Veda ( from who the books of Veda in Hinduism came), Swambhu etc. 2) Preserver God in Hinduism = Vishnu / Narayana/ Hari etc. (You might know ISKCON singing and chanting " Hare Krishna , Hare Krishna //Krishna Krishna Hare Hare // Hare Rama Hare Rama // Rama Rama Hare Hare)". He has mainly 10 avatars ( incarnation) that comes to Earth to restart the cycle of Yug ( a period of time). The most prominant avatars you may here is Krishna (Holi festival) , and Rama ( Diwali/ Deepawali), Buddha (Buddhism), Jagganath ( If you visit Orissa state it is a huge chariot festival where God is himself taken to his aunt's house by pulling rope) .The english word "Jaggernauth" came from our God which actually means the Nath ( God, King) of the world ( Jagat). The British couldnt pronounce the word during British Raj times and made a hodge podge name out of our God. Hindus believe the very last avatar of Vishnu will be Kalki who have not come yet, he will come to restore light in times of darkness on Earth. 3) Destroyer of evils God in Hinduism= Shiva, he also has various names such as most common ones are Mahadev, Mahakal, Bhole, Bambhole, Shambhu, Bhairab etc. Together they are called Trimurti. All three Gods have their consorts or wives where all have their own powers various avatars and names. 1a) Brahma consort= Goddess Saraswati. 2b) Vishnu consort= Goddess Lakshmi 3c) Shiva consort = Durga / Parvati/ Shakti/ Sherawali etc. many names. Shiva's son is called Ganapati/ Ganesh pre dominantely celebrated in Maharashtra hugely. Shiva, his wife Durga ( Shakti, the ultimate Mother Goddess of Power, strength etc. who also has various avatars and names.) , their 2 sons Ganesha (God of wisdom) and Karthikeya ( God of War ), and 2 daughters Saraswati ( Goddess of Knowledge) and Lakshmi ( Goddess of Wealth and Prosperity) is celebrated in West Bengal hugely. Goddess Durga with her whole family visits Earth from Heaven for 10 days to his father's house on Earth and goes back to Heaven to come back next year.

No one actually told Phil what he was saying when they got him to shout “Ganpati bappa morya" which means "O Lord please come forward and bless us" The whole thing is “Ganpati bappa morya pudhchya warshi lavkar ya” "O Lord please come forward and bless us. Please come back again the next year and bless us with your wisdom' He just kept repeating it over and over again without knowing what he was shouting. It's what Hindus shout during this festival to celebrate it.
Loved that guy’s analogy of ‘GOD’ having translated from hindu scriptures into English, that of Generator (Brahma), Operator (Vishnu) and Destroyer (Mahesh/Shiva).
Random guy comes at 2:05, eats Phil's sweet and walks away. Come on Indians you can do better. Ask Phil. Each of you are representing your country. Dont do this!
who is the guy with you giving you the wrong refernce of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Shivaji Maharaj is the god for all Maharashtrian people the real fearless warrior who taught how to live the right and fight for there rights. He was the one who introduced Self-Rule or Swaraj
Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj faught with Mughals Majorly..Shivaji Maharaj also faught with British and Portuguese few times because they are not much active in India that time........No one killed Shivaji Maharaj he died because of illness............Bhai ka Irada nek tha par knowledge ki kami thi........... Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ki jay🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩.......Har har Mahadev.....
18:18 Please don't believe in WhatsApp University 😂 Even a lot of Indian don't even know basic things 😂 19:43 It was Mughals which are ruling on that time and *Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj* fraught against them, 20:04 😂Thank God he didn't said great Britain which you are part of, and they did even realise it 😂 20:17 I commented in details in your previous videos about why you should visit *Pune* where this Public Ganesh festival started first.
Were the sweets eaten during your 3 hour window ? Or have you changed the rules again to allow them to be eaten ? hahahaha 😊. Enjoyed yet another good video. Do you have plans to visit the Taj Mahal ? A must surely while you visit India !.
19:45 Phil hope you are not drinking Beer.. Remember its #strictly prohibited drink any kind of alcohol or Smoke in Public places , specially in Worship areas/Temple.. 🙁🙁🙄🙄
@@Ashoka9386 If you guys simply read the Srimad Bhagvad gita which is the essence of hinduism, you will realise when SRI Krishna shows his true self to Arjuna, what he essentially says is" You may worship me in whatever form you want but ultimately you worship only me and I will answer your call " which means hinduism basically says that there is only one supreme energy( or god) called Brahman ( nothing to do with caste here) who is the ultimate energy moving the world towards its logical conclusion. That Brahman is manifested in everything there is in this universe, whether animate or inanimate, and neither is there is scope for caste or religion or any division in humanity
Actually he didn’t stole it, he made sure that the taste of the sweets is actually perfect or not so he gaved you his review that you can try, coz if Mexican food has to be tried by Indian he won’t know the food from where he is eating is upto mark, so it can be reviewed by Mexican that food is perfect
You should try to edits videos bro ...make it 15 to 20 minutes vieeos ...no need to show everything what you recorded...if you make 15 to 20 minutes it will reach more people. Otherwise people just forwards videos that's it .
