@@MuhammadSaad-nq9kg Cheap mentality, He is punjabi not British or English-speaker . Get a life bro, it's just a language and it's OK anyways to communicate as per ones easiness.

This is Peshawri Pulow you are eating, that comes with beef, raisins and chickpeas with spices. The Afghani Pulow is with beef, carrots and raisins but not at all spicy.
Pashtun, Pakhtun These are words of two dialect of same ethnic language Pashto/Pakhto language. While in history, Iranians called them Afghans, while the British called them Pathans, in some areas of present-day Pakistan, they are also known as Khan..
The name is Pukhtoon...but if anyone is out side of KPK province then they call Pukhtoon the Pathan..actually the British couldn't pronounce it correctly and called the Pukhtoon OR Pakhtoon the Pathan..so thats what it started back then.. And still some people say it Pathan..but they are all the same people.(Pukhtoon, Pakhtoon or Pathan).
I don't know why people in Sindh, Punjab and all of Pakistan still use the word "Pathan" then, I find it hard to believe that these people don't know what the real world is because they've been living together for thousands of years before the British ever showed up.
I know- but as you know we Pakistani actually people from South Asia just love to use the English words and what the British did here in South Asia. @@laalbujhakkar
Thank you Jack and Paige. You have taken me on a journey I would never be brave enough to make. Wonderful insight into some wonderful people and a fascinating country.😀
Patan and Pashtun is the same Pathan is a British term for Pashtun (also seen as Pushtun and Pukhtun), the people who inhabited the region along the border between British India and Afghanistan. Today they constitute the largest ethnic group in Afghanistan and the second largest in Pakistan.
