Yet another grey Jeep color to add to the flood of grey/silver vehicles of the masses on the grey concrete. But to each their own - and yellow would make a nice, contrasting accent color.
Iv got 2014 jku in anvil. Bought in 2014 and still love it.... Iv kept it swirl free and opticoated...even today after a wash looks as good as in this video... I will let go my jku anvil.. never... Love it..
One think i notice in Build and Price section for this color. When I tried to build my own 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 on website, the color in website is sucks. That does not look like on the video, This is a huge drawback for such a company.
Love the Anvil. I tried to find my Jeep in that color but settled for Gobi (which I also like a lot). Anvil reminds me of the Gunmetal Pearlcoat on the early TJs.
@@uzabat I love it. Zero issues and I have run about a dozen trails to include rocks and snow and it’s been great. I have 7,500 miles on it now. My only regret but it’s not a real regret is I wish I could’ve gotten the 392. Also, it’s worth getting the factory winch. I did not and putting one on was a bit of a pain.
I thought Earl was just kind of grey until I saw it in person. I feel like anvil might be the same. It just looks grey, but I bet it's very different when you're standing there. I remember when Toyota came out with someolike "arctic snow blizzard", and all I could think was, "white. It's white. You made white ... And you pay extra....". I'm still in love with Earl, Punkin, Mojito, and Gecko.
You mentioned going to be some new colors going to be released. You have any idea what they will be. You think Snazzbery pearl will be back anytime soon???
Ah, I remember my first Jeep....lol. Seriously though, not my first jeep, but my Anvil 10A JKUR was an awesome color and Jeep. Not the most subdued, but mojave orange would be a good accent color. If I were buying that 392, I'd just roll with gold!
Looks like Stellantis's take on Ford's "Area 51", but I like this more. Looks perfect with the bronze accents. Curious about how it looks with the Rubi red accents. I didn't care for that on my Hydro Blue XR, and pulled the dash panels. I swapped out the decals and badges for the bronze.
I love sting gray and was sad to see it go.. But if I were to trade mine in for a new JLU, Anvil is the only color that has the same persona.. its like a camo where it looks different in various lighting conditions. Thanks for the video.. lovely color.

I just want Bikini teal or the EJS Pink to come back for 2024 Q3 so i can freakin order one! The 3x greys in the current lineup is SO boring, even if Anvil looks okay for a silver/grey. Almost looked like a dark earl in the video. Anywho, keep up the vids! Much appreciated!
@@DIRTROADCRED Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you like the color of concrete, nothing wrong with that. My race car is lime green & my TRX is bright red.
@@DIRTROADCREDUnfortunately you can’t. They started with it unavailable, then made it available for like a week and it’s been unavailable ever since. That’s all that’s keeping me from it. I’m trying to see if I could live without the SOT! By the way, LOVE your channel!
Yes, I discovered the same thing! Tried to order anvil with sky one touch and will not allow! I try every few days but. I luck! Anyone know why? I’d love to know. Btw, great video! Love the channel! Always watch!
@@Tammy-pn5iu I’ve checked every few days as well, but no luck, so I’ve decided to just get the hardtop and order the sun rider thing. That way I can still enjoy how I ride now with the SOT, and be able to take the top off later if I want to. Plus it will same me 3k 🙂
