I’ve been using my lane shark on my 100 acres here in Blue Ridge Georgia for the past 3 weeks and it has surpassed my hopes. I have put it through extremely heavy duty use and it has held up. Years of overgrowth cut back on hills, tree lines, fence rows, and roadways. I’ve already paid for my machine. I recommend sharpening your blades often as it really helps the machines efficiency.

Real Patriot I would love to see this in person. I’m in Blairsville and own a bush hogging business. Been wanting to see one of these in person. Where did you purchase it at?

I just received my LS3 yesterday, dealer installed. Unfortunately I'm not impressed and considering returning as it cost me $6500 to have it installed. It's ashamed really as the unit does a good job at cutting, but the manufacturing and articulation of the unit is lacking. When trying to position the cutter to offset position, I literally had to throw my body weight at it to get it to move. I assumed either something is wrong with the pivot arm or I'm doing something wrong. I double checked the manual and re-watched the videos on youtube university, but still incredibly hard to move. Also during the swing back to rotate cutting unit out, it struck the brush guard on the front of the tractor. With an L2501 care must be taking during the rotation because the arc of the swing is very close. Of course the force required to move the damn thing only exacerbated the issue. At this point I called the dealer to let them know what was going on, they had some suggestions, but didn't understand why this was happening. So I went back, inspected the main pivot point, added some grease to the zurck. I also applied grease to the round ring bump out, which was bone dry by the way. This made a marginal improvement in articulation but still requires some force to move. At least I no longer need to slam my body against it. Now after moving the cutter to offset position, to my surprise, the snap pin diameter is smaller then the receiving holes for the kickstand and the holes do not line up to allow for straight pin insertion. I'm thinking this is why the manufacture went with smaller pins. Also worth mentioning that the tower lock holes do not line up either. @@LaneSharkUSA I'm currently working with the dealer, who stopped by yesterday to see for himself and he is supposed to contact Laneshark and figure out a fix. I will keep this in mind and contact you directly.

will this go on a JD 2520? or is that too small? Saw the comment below, it will roll. Have you thought about putting a counter balance arm on it? I'm thinking something like a 3x3 sq column off the LS with weight on the end to balance it. make it removable with an angle adjustment pin plate, kind of how you have the LS mounted to the plate on the front loader arms by your arm at 2:45. Anyway, cool idea, best of luck! and let me know if you make one for a 2520.

This was a 3038, unfortunately the 2 Series is too small. The tractor will tip over in the offset position.
