As someone getting back into running 25 years after my distance running days were over, I am noticing the void for mentors and role models in ultra running who are women. I just see a sea of men at the starting lines. We are all united by the love of running, and no hate intended, but GIRLS LET’S DO THIS. I am humbled and inspired by those who are stepping up. Can’t tell ya how many times I have been brought to tears by Courtney’s particular mixture of grace and grit. Much respect, ladies!

Totally different women, both champions. As a runner, you can only hope to get somewhere near their mindset. That's why I am incredibly grateful for who Courtney is because she is welcoming and makes you feel that there is enough room where she is. 🙌🏼

Thank you for this, so awesome Courtney and Jennifer were able to "meet" and talk to each other; hearing Jennifer say what Courtney meant to her was so very touching... Prince rocking the stage in the infield at the Auburn track- what a sight...!!
