The first hatchling of the Lear's Macaw species has been born in Brazil, from a pair born and raised at Loro Parque Fundacion. Not only have they been able to adapt to their natural environment, but they have also been able to reproduce, saving the species from imminent extinction.
Thanks to the great effort and work of Loro Parque Fundacion, together with more than 10 institutions around the world, we have been able to make this possible.
