Watching and hearing someone meet Led Zep for the first time more than 50 years on takes me back to those magic days. The impact they have had on you rings my memory bell so loudly. Deeper and deeper into the rabbithole, friend!
Yes! They will live on forever as I always knew they would. Especially with all the reaction channels and the younger generations are digging it so much! It's fantastic!
Immigrant song was composed after their gig in Reykjavik June 1970, I was there, fantastic gig and great parties in the midnight sun !! Best regards from Immy on Reykjavik, Iceland.
Welcome to the magical world of Zeppelin. Many of us vintage viewers have been die hard ZepHeads since ‘68/70/71 & lived the Zep experience in real time. Their concerts were things of absolute legend!!! The older Zep community is so happy for RU-vid so younger folk can get their mind blown & face melted by the true legend that is the undisputed the most badass band with earthly characteristics no band can touch!!!! Looking forward to your Zep journey!!! ☮️💜
@@emilymartinez6961 me too since they blasted onto the music scene…showing my age that’s ok I’m happy I grew up in 70’s!!!! Our radio station played blocks of Zeppelin called Get the LED out!!!
@@Kashmir.820 , l grew up in the 70's as well, graduation with the Class of 75'and l went to soooo many Zeppelin concerts, some great times back then ✌️
YEAH ONCE AGAIN THE TRACK "SINCE I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU" QUICKLY BECAME MY FAVORITE TRACK OF THE ALBUM!! JUST THE LEAD GUITAR RIFFS FROM PAGE AND THE STUNNING VOCALS FROM PLANT JUST PUT THIS TRACK ON A DIFFERENT LEVEL!!!! WHEN ROBERT PLANT DOES THAT FINAL BELT NEAR THE END OF THE SONG IT JUST GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS EVERY FREAKING TIME!!!! YOU CAN JUST FEEL THE PAIN IN THAT SCREAM!!!
Thank you, brother, great reaction period please listen to the entire physical graffiti double album. You won't be disappointed period until next time. Stay well, and popping for fresh.
Dude, I was 12 when I first heard this song in 1970. I was too young to buy stuff but it sparked a desire and a curiosity for this music that has never ceased. I still listen to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath. My 3 favorite bands.
Appreciation is the greatest compliment you can give to the past... Good music is good music, regardless of era or genre. You are on a path of discovery, The map is before you.
Nobody like Zeppelin. I've been following your journey since you started it, and I've been loving it. There's still so much more to come, and I am excited for you to hear it all for the first time. Been a zephead for 50 years and still listen to them daily. The greatest band ever! ✌️
Dude! You got it boy. This is what it was. We listened the hell out of albums like this. Hanging out, brewski's, doobies and blasting this on a sweet sound system with good friends. Your expressions are exactly what our expressions were. You are on point!
1970 I was a 15 yr old Air Force brat , living in Hawaii...was Amazing but a somewhat uneasy time, Viet Nam was still goin on, LZ changed the game! And to this day, it never ever gets old....maybe check out what was going on at the time your favs were released to get a better vibe for the music. It matters bro...
Love to find a youngin discovering music from back in the day that makes them feel something and admire the musicianship and the contents just know that there's something other than rap and hip hop that's good
Feel the Mighty Zeppelin blues climb aboard your groove I got this album in early 72 '.I was smokin and with my girl Robin it was in my basement ,oh yeah we were one that afternoon and then on on on just digging each other Zepp just smouldering in our minds Passing the torch I'm at 61yrs. remember this if it's to loud ,your to old!!! 🤘🤘
Not only was it on the song but they also used the beginning of live when they would perform the song black dog and also used in the beginning of john bonhams drum solo.
Sitting in my BFF's basement with our younger brothers. We were all smoking some good pot😊 We were 17 and 15 respectively. Still gets me happy and ROCKING
I probably had 10,000 hours listening to this band through the 80's on cassette in the car to and from work and on weekends. I like your idea of LP's. In the 90's I listened to Zeppelin on LP's. I So heavy on LP's. I always thought that was BEST. now its digital and remastered. It's been a long good trip. One a side note: Your a smart dude. You figure so much out. Immigrant Song was in the movie Shrek. I think that was what you were thinking.
I remember going to parties and we would sit around doing our thing while passing around the jackets to read all about the band and songs. No RU-vid back then 😂. ❤
Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Back Sabbath. I feel you. *there is a lot of good music out there. *for real. **But I've probably racked up more hours with the same 3 bands over all others.
This was critically panned as uncommercial. To me and other young Led Heads it became an insiders "real zeppelin". First time I heard it was spring 1981 on cassette getting stoned for the first time. It has always sounded like something from a dream to me.
Listen to Led Zeppelin, "The Song Remains The Same". Also not sure if you have heard Pink Floyd's, "Echoes" or "Shine On You Crazy Diamond"...all tracks.
The Immigrant song is about the Vikings, it makes me think of the greatest TV series, The Last Kingdom on Netflix, the music in that series is amazing too.
Another wonderful reaction. Thanks and Good purchase!!! Enjoy. LZIII is not everyone's cup of tea. This album branches out to highlight other influences - such as Eastern music, traditional folk and progresses further into their own type of blues and sound overall. SIBLY is my absolute favorite LZ number. Been a LedHead for most of my life. 😁 a long time. . . Have you posted Part II of this album?? Can't find it . Can't wait to see your reactions to all that is to come. You may find this interesting - a 2004 documentary that appeared on the A&E TV network - some errors but overall a good overview of the band. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QkXAV-5BXn0.html ☮
I saw Robert Plant with Alison Krauss in Taos last Saturday. Good memories. They 2 or 3 Zep songs, including When the Levee Break, but a rockabilly version.
I THINK I WAS 13 THE FIRST TIME I HEARD THE IMMIGRANT SONG, WHICH THEY PLAYED ON THE RADIO QUITE A BIT IN 1970!! WHEN I PURCHASED THE ALBUM MYSELF I WAS TOTALLY AMAZED AND FELL IN LOVE WITH JUST ABOUT EVERY SINGLE TRACK ON THIS ALBUM!! THE THIRD TRACK, SIDE 1 "SINCE I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU" AND MOST OF SIDE 2 ARE REALLY AWESOME SONGS, MY FAVORITES!!! FOR ME THE FIRST SIX ZEPPELIN ALBUMS ARE TRULY THE BEST!! ESPECIALLY THE EARLY ALBUMS ONE THROUGH FOUR!! BUT ONCE THEY LOST JOHN BONHAM IT WAS NOT LED ZEPPELIN ANYMORE!!😮😢 THEY JUST DIDN'T SOUND THE SAME! EVEN WHEN THEY TOURED WITH JOHN'S SON, JASON BONHAM, IT WAS GOOD BUT IT JUST WAS NOT THE SAME!!!
Yes, the song out on the tiles is.Use a couple different ways. The original song. If you listen to black dog at madison square garden , it starts with almost the same way. As like The song Moby Dick starts off.Totally different. Not the same thing, but then it's guitar based drums. And they fade out then he does a solo. The same? Way with the beginning of this song.He goes into a solo.
yes since I've been loving you get Reddy this is in there top 10 so was immigrant song its hard been zep head for 43 years this album is different tangerine is also Zen on this ,WTF they have no bad !
So, I have been watching you for several weeks now, since you reacted to the whole album of "Close To The Edge" by Yes.....my all-time favorite Rock band.....and I know you LOVE Led Zeppelin..who are my second all-time favorite Rock Band....but still do not sleep on YES....they have 23 albums including their recent one that came out this year. You are going down the Rabbit Hole of Yes......so, I request and urge you to react to their Masterpiece album, "Relayer." Every song is a Masterpiece and it is a concept album, meaning there is a on-going theme throughout of war within us and within the human race and th hope of change and renewal to cross the river into Paradise. Check it out! It's a banger!!! Great reaction to Led Zeppelin lll
i dont care what anybody says. But jimmy page,s solo on since ive been loving you is the greatest ever if you dont agree your wrong. And thats just eh your opinion man
