The Mustang stands as a symbol of American automotive culture like few others, doesn't it? From the iconic V8 enthusiasts to the tech-savvy advocates for EVs, there's room under the Mustang umbrella for all. 🇺🇸 I think we can all agree that whether it's old school muscle or modern innovation, the Mustang stirs emotions. And let's be real, how many cars can be a crowd-pleaser and a "crowd plower" at the same time? 😂
Well said. I certainly love my S550. And perhaps that's the other thing... I've enjoyed my other cars from a deliciously high revving Toyota 2zz to a smooth BMW I6, but nothing is as visceral as my manual V8 Grabber Blue Mustang, customized to my liking. ... I am also very happy to see that many other cars are now plowing into bus-fulls of nuns and school children.
I'll have to be financially stable in every sense before purchasing my first supercar. The best thing to do with my money is to invest rightly till I can afford one
The best advice that i learned from Manny Koshbin is don't buy a Super or Hyper car until you have 10 times the price of it in your Bank account, when you purchase a Super car you add a car to your garage but u add also maintenance and unexpected damages that can happen in future
I understand Manny advice but that's overkill. If most people did that - they would never own one. The 10-15% rule is enough - especially if you make even more with multiple streams of income. My investment properties pay for my exotics cars. It's many different things you can do to afford easily and responsibly. You don't need a million cash to afford a cheap 100k car, My first exotic was 100k put down 20k- financed 80k. Then traded up to more expensive cars. Now I have an Aventador, so it's not hard at all, Especially if you are making 20-25k plus a month with little to no debt with multiple streams and assets that produce income.
If you have that much money sitting in your bank account, that means that you are not investing your money properly. Money sitting in the bank doesn't really do anything for you because interest rates are so slow. It's better to have $1 million in a place where it can make you 5% on returns rather than having that $1 million sitting in your bank account making you 0.5% returns.
I agree Ford I feel like is doing the right thing and I didn’t want to live to see this day come I’m only 17 and there’s already killing off muscle cars. I’ve always wanted one of the top hp model for each muscle car and now it’s making me sad that they are killing them off. I don’t think electric is the way I think alternative fuels and hybrids are the way. What all the governments are pushing isn’t right and it upsets car fans all over the world. And the combustion engine can run so many other things as well. And plus all electric means just more strain on powerplants and the same pollution that was from the cars is just going to be coming from the power plants. There must be another way to save cars with engines someway some how I hope someone finds a way and really soon S.O.E. (Save Our Engines).
Old school muscle meets newfound precision. Looks cleaner, minimalist and easily recognizable than the old one. I rather like it. Kudos to Ford! The Mustang is coming with guns blazing!
It's weird because in that color at first glance I thought it was a Volvo in their Swedish racing green. After testing out an m4 a couple years ago. I was wondering why people didn't just save the money and buy a Mustang if they wanted a gigantic coupe that handled well. Personally, I wish it was just shrunk down in total scale by 15 to 20% and it would be a pretty amazing car for my taste.
Full disclosure, I have a 2022 mustang gt. I smile every time I press the start button and press that third pedal. That said, good on ford. Manual transmission and naturally aspirated v8. In a world concerned less with driver experience and more with tenths of a second on 0-60 times, Ford still cares about those of us who want to enjoy our cars. All I need is a bit of twisty road and no one in front of me.
Hey Ford stop killing off the hot hatches! Out here in California 2019 was the last year we had them. Please bring us the Puma ST! I'm ready to unload my Fiesta ST.
Long live the Mustang! Love the Fox body gauges they’re pretty cool, it takes me back to my first car (an ‘87 5.0 LX). Ford is definitely aiming for Gen-X with this.
The s650 seats are the same as the s550. I’m 6ft 4 and drove around Australia and found them extremely comfortable and supportive with lumbar adjustment over long drives. So your comment about the seat absolutely bamboozles me and lost me for the video after.
Ford UK dropped the Ecoboost 4 cylinder a few years back as sales were 80/20 in favour of the V8, so I don't see the Ecoboost coming back for this 7th generation. Also, the last of the V8 6th Gen cars were over £50k, so the price is only going to go up.
That's right, Ford UK had started to price the Mustang out of reach for many. That's a real shame because it was originally fairly affordable for its size and power.
I bought one of the last V8s and have since been told by about four dealers that they expect the S650 GT to start around £60-£62k and the Dark Horse around £70k.
The chassis is notably stiffer, and it’s been outfitted with all-new suspension and steering systems to improve its handling at speed. Its sheet metal has been sculpted completely from scratch from the nose to the rear deck, giving it a more aggressive, boxier appearance than its predecessor, to say nothing of the interior, which is completely new.
I love the 2024 Mustang even though I know several other Mustang fans don’t. Love the refresh outside, love the tech inside and never been a fan of wings but IMO this one looks great. Still love the 2023 as well but I would take either. I am planning on buying a fun car in the next couple of years and have it narrowed down a 67 or 90 coupe or convertible or 2023 or 2024 premium coupe. When time comes I will see what I can get best deal on but glad I have these choices…thanks Ford
The stickers and stuped jokes about them take away from the main focus, the CAR. Thats why people watch car shows. For the cars and the funny jokes, which this video had neither.
I have a bunch of issues with the S650 but what a shame about that big dumb slab of LCD panel. I know it's everywhere... it certainly doesn't mean it's good. What is it going to look like in 20 years? And that goes for any of these.
Are those panel gaps normal ? Looks like it’s has been crushed and badly repaired in the front bumper and hood area . Other than that it does look cool . Don’t like the screens in the interior but I guess they did their customer surveys and that’s what most ppl want these days .
Its sad that ford is making bad choices by ending certain cars and suv's and for what something that isn't going to sell. Im happy that this mustang still has a v8
The irony of being upset that a company killed cars in favor of profitable vehicles while saying the one they are marketing and offering with nice profit margins wont 😂
No. Panel gaps are a known issue for Mustangs. However, this S650 is more expensive, heavier, slower and uglier than the previous generation. So the panel gaps are unacceptable this time around.
Just wait until the Shelby GT500 version!!! The GTD is going to break Hearts:) mustangs are already getting DCT transmissions which will help around the track.
........but I forgot youtube reviews are ALWAYS positive to get more access. so I NEVER take "reviews" serious.......more like a commercials..........all the positive and none of the negative
This car is built so smart, its so basic, with minimal electronic things, the manul shifting, etc.. and all the money is concentrated to its power, for that reason its one of the cheapest super sport cars
I like how he says its old school and hasnt budged on tech or environmental concerns while the "Mustang Purists" are complaining about the screens and the carbon traps in the intakes. 🙄
Just here complaining about the screens. Buttons and knobs do a better job. The power button and volume rockers still exist on phones and laptops still have tactile keys. But for some reason, car interior designers have lost their minds when it comes to ergo/usability concerns.
@@WhatisaLee designers and manufacturers dont give a shit plus who cares if you cant use the tech in car if it still drives. They want more OTA capability and hope consumers wont notice they are shifting to subscriptions and other ways to milk money from customers. If you had a hard button theyd have to pay Bill in Michigan to install it instead of charging you monthly to enable a heated steering wheel 🤣
Is it my imagination or is that crappy panel fit between the bonnet and front bumper over the left headlight? Still love it despite losing 50hp for the uk market.
The tech is straight . Inside ok I see u . The graphics for the different screens is mad cool .But the outside of this just does not exactly go. Extremely awkward from the front ..the back is the only part that comes together with the lights and trunk . But again the bottom of the bumper looks terrible
Back seats are perfect for kids & its a 2 door coupe, not a Maybach🤷❓️Its reporters like you 🫵 that killed off the Australian Ford Falcon & Holden Commodore, "the driving position is too high" etc. What do you expect for about $30K US⁉️
Showed the beautiful blue mustang and everything but didn't even rev the engine and showed what it actually sounds like. So much of a car enthusiast you have there topgear. #clarksondiditbetter
What are you talking about in that first minute? 1:03 "It has not bent an inch towards environmental concerns or new technology...". I'm pretty sure it meets all the latest environmental, safety, or technological advancements. Ford should be commended for that.
I'm absolutely HEARTBROKEN Dodge are doing what they're doing with the Challengers and Chargers... and i live in the UK. But those Hellcats are SEXY. Yes, a Mustang is nice... but it's not a Hellcat.
Shame about the screens, I'd still rather have a V8 ftype it's no older than the Mustang so a strange thing to say about it being old, yep it is more expensive new but the panel gaps will match and it's faster and will do more than 17mpg,just saying.
the difference between Ford and GM: GM would NEVER offer a sports car with an OPTIONAL limited slip. no sports car is a sports car with an open diff. koenigsegg could offer a jesko or agerra RS and if it had no LSD it’d worth $2.
the new 2024 ford mustang is great for the price starting at $25,515 not everyone can spend $185,550 on a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. the ford mustang I think its a great first sports car, for anyone getting there first sports car for a great price. My brother bought this car i went for a drive it was great I never understood why people are so obbsesed over the horse power of sports cars i mean you cant go over the speed limit at the end of the day any ways.
This is now the only remaining true American muscle car. Furthermore, Ford swore that they will keep the Mustang and the V8 in it forever, no matter what.
And i think its sad my favorite cars here in the us the camaro might be no more and the charger will be no more and again for what a stupid electric car that isn't going to sell because its expensive and doing maintenance on it cost 20,000
Sorry to see what's happened to Top Gear. The guy didn't even drive the car, just put some dumb stickers on it. Yikes. Also champ, it hasn't been around since last year. They just started shipping a few weeks ago. Head of car testing with no testing and incorrect info. Oh boy.
