This is Volvo's new EV and it is just a thing of beauty. So well-made that it makes me wonder if all EVs below R800K will manage. This is tipped to be a game changer.
Starting and R775 900, it is one of the cheapest EVs thus far and for the car that is it, even in the segment (especially as a luxury vehicle) it is asking a lot of questions.

For a Volvo, it's well priced to challenge almost every other EV in the market. Especially those around same size and below. It's a phenomenal car, has the right specs from lower spec, they got it right.👌🏾

Great price but the APR in the UK is horrible which keeps the monthly high unless you put a high deposit down. So unfortunately it’s still not accessible.

@@ColonelSternlove I mean, it'd still be inaccessible to a lot of people in SA, the average salary can't get you this car but it's a welcome addition to the relatively cheaper EVs we now have available 🤷🏽‍♂️

What ‘ s the sound system and the bass ? The rest sounds very very clear … Has only front soundbar?? in the video sounds good, but the sound is coming too much from the front of the car… Nice video mate !!

Thanks a lot, they tried to do surround sound but yah I agree, you can hear and feel it pushing from the front.

I would like to know if it makes any noise to warn of it's approach to anyone or animals in its path.I have a car that makes no noise and would never buy or rent another

Did not see that feature, same with many electric cars, mostly if a car is coming you don't even hear the engine noise, even with most ICE cars.

In de meeste video’s word de auto gestreeld en geknuffeld gelukkig nu niet vind het wel jammer dat de auto een tien meter verderop niet even op de brug word gezet om de kwaliteit aan de onderkant te bekijken, schrik dan niet

The issue I have with Volvo and Mercedes-Benz is they don't seem to know how to design EVs, giving them a very traditional nose which looks really odd. They need to take a leaf out of BYD and Tesla.

I totally hear you, I think though on this one they managed to capture is just right for looks. BMW is still King in keeping EVs looking "normal" to the eye👌🏾

Eish...I love the Side and Rear profile of the car, including the interior. I wish the car was available in gasoline and diesel as well...but otherwise Volvo nailed the design, but it's a pity that I don't buy this EV shinanegans...I will always chose fossil fuels all the time...🙏🙏🙏
