True, as my 2008, 159 Sportswagon start to see some wear and needs replacing in 2-3 years, a Giulia Sportswagon would be the preferred successor, but unfortunately only the Stelvio only offers the amount of inside space, but I don't like SUV's.....yeah I know, I'm a dying breed of people that just don't like SUV's.
@@corborst4872 I'm with you man, same boat. Even when my 159 sportwagon can still go another 5-6 years with proper maintenance, I'd prefer to follow it up with a Gulia estate.
I got so excited when I watched this, a true fast estate to steal the M3 Touring's thunder. But then realised it's just a concept! You've produced something incredible 2NCS! If Alfa don't put this into production they are crazy.
How would Alfa Romeo afford to create this? Are there sufficient sales of medium sized wagons in Alfa's most successful markets? You'd want a healthy appetite for these - lower spec _and_ high performance - to justify the expense of development. A few people loving some animations and an idea, isn't enough.
@@assininecomment1630 hey, it's just a lot of petrol heads showing appreciation for an incredible looking car we all wish existed. Amazing work from 2NCS. Not all choices are always base on sales figures, sometimes cars are produced as a statement or a flagship to attract the average buyer to other cars within their range. Take a look at the Ineos Grenadier too, that's a passion by Sir Jim Ratcliffe... that's very unlikely to be a true money maker but they've persisted with it as it's his passion to see a true LR Defender successor. And take a look at the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6... two different cars but both are the same price point, target largely the same market... why has Hyundai chosen to continue regardless? Choice for the consumer. Point is, not all decisions should always be based on sales figures.
I totally understand your point,@@TK-Touring. Off the top of my head, the best example of such a figurehead vehicle, would be the Bugatti Veyron. The Lexus LFA is another. Quite probably loss-making, overall - but boy did they have an impact! So, mission accomplished. However, the unavoidable reality in this instance, is *Alfa friggin' Romeo* ... 😬 If ever there was a car company with bi-polar disorder, it is Alfa. One moment, it is deliriously joyful and everybody's darling. The next, it's an utterly dysfunctional fustercluck! Since launch, I wonder how many years has this 3rd incarnation of the Guilia, reached the original sales forecasts? The Guilietta and MiTo wound up after a mediocre run, and the Guilia was losing sales rapidly. The Stelvio hasn't performed strongly in many (any?!) markets either. Fiat has been an automotive icon for Italy, but has rarely had the corporate success of other giants of the car industry. Compared to VW, Hyundai-Kia, and Toyota, Alfa's owner, Fiat has had as many product misses, as hits. How long has it been since Fiat was both _profitable_ and _independent_ ? Taking on the struggling Chrysler operation 9 yrs ago, was very difficult. Were it not for the merger with PSA to form Stellantis, the ageing Guilia was looking like possibly the last Alfa of all. Fortunately, Stellantis management somehow kicked the FCA operation into shape, because Alfa for the first time since the 147 and 156 siblings were a popular thing, Alfa made a small profit last year. 🤯 Bad news though: Alfa's CEO has already decided what dream projects might go ahead, now that his business isn't in a death spiral. 33 Stradale and the Duetto. No Guilia wagon. 🙄
For a moment i thought It was a real launch of the new alfa!! It leaves me with mouth open..Amazing design and style!! Really congrats to you!! ❤❤ You have to work in alfa romeo and give a kick to the old designers!!
It looks nice but I already expect people who as soon as it comes out would criticize it for reliability or quality without even seeing it in person or driving it
SVEGLIATEVI!
The best looking station wagon ever, I love station wagons like what Volvo had before. This Giulia tops it off, it was already one of my fav cars ever.
159Ti owner, If you want a large Uber estate/wagon the usual would be RS6/C63, both fantastic cars, this however appears to raise the game. All the anti Alfisti will go on about reliabilty etc. my 2009 159 currently 160K no more issues or cost than BMW/Merc etc. I love the looks of this wagon/touring
True. People in general are negative about everything. If you own a car and take care about it and do the maintenance as it should be, you don’t have problems. I own an RS4 B9 but this Alfa is lovely, I might consider this as an occasion in a few years.
After a long time again a car design that leaves me absolutely speechless. Even the m3 touring looks like a choirboy. Absolute emotions. Bravo alfa romeo
WOW!!! This would be some serious competition for the M3 Touring. Looks and sound-wise I would take one of these over the M3 in a heartbeat, and *especially* if released in UK with the manual gearbox sold in some other geographies with the saloon.
Alfa has one of the most talented designers! And those Italian looks! Only two countries has their own style when it comes to atomotive - USA and Italy - love them both!
Same power train as it has currently but with a 4wd system probably suit it, and the same quad exhaust style as the current Julia. This would be a beast
Buonasera o visto adesso il video inerente alla Giulia che spettacolo di macchina se la metteranno in produzione per le altre case sarà dura eguagliare Alfa
Despite all its other quirks, Alfa do fantastic-looking cars. If this drives like a traditional Alfa, and with those drop-dead looks, it's already a classic. I want one.
for me the only thing that looks weird, the exhaust! strange angle and too high for a front engine car; yes I undestand the concept behind (free flow for the diffusor), but still unrealistic for a state car. however, the other 99% looks amazing! great work!
