exactly they did the same with star wars i was ready to buy but come on 10 tables i just got all 19 on a cartridge for Nintendo switch i still would have popped for 550 dollars but 10 tables come on there are 19
So looking forward to these. Attack From Mars is on my list. I would love to be able to upgrade the back glass so you can put a monitor and get the proper backglass for each table.

@@davidlambert5008 i don't mind waiting, its a instant buy for me in Germany, if the machine is actually running smoothly. Dont have the nerve to build my own, figure it out with all the force feedback tinkering and never feeling that its 100% finished (like my arcade cabs). So i am happy to buy this and "just" upgrade it with a bigger monitor. But congrats on having the abilities to build your own.
I was sold on the Star Wars cab, but I’m now EXTREMELY concerned that this isn’t running native 1080p (I believe that you already confirmed 60fps, so I’m trusting that). If this is any less than full native 1080p, it’s a no-go, period. That looks too low-res to be 1080p, but I’m hoping that it’s some early build or... I don’t know. You already said that it’s final software. My heart’s broken. I won’t consider this at all if you don’t have that minimum resolution.
its 720/60. With a 24" monitor, and the viewing distance, the difference between 720 and 1080 is greatly minimized. Why did er go with 24" screen? This is a retail product as well as an online product.

Hi there! I was wondering if there are any delays for the release of this and the Star Wars pinball machine. A bunch of people have noticed that the release date from our local retailer (Gamestop) has this listed as being released in February of 2021. Have there been any changes from the December 15th, 2020 release date?
I hope so, especially the Star Wars one, for some reason for having 10 games on the console they don’t have a game dedicated to each movie! 🤦🏻♂️ Plus with each table being 5-10 bucks on apps through zen, I feel like they should add more since you spend $500 on the machine
FUCKING FANTASTIC. This half-answered a big question I had, and really sets my worries at ease a bit: I was worried the haptic feedback would be too weak to feel and be effective. Still won't know 100% until I try, BUT hearing those LOUD knocks really gives me confidence that it's gonna be effective! :D It's looking amazing, honestly. The only final BIG question I have, that's not on arcade1up's website is: Is this going to be a steady 60fps? *fingers crossed*!
Looks amazing! I can't wait to get my hands on an Attack from Mars Machine. A couple questions: What resolution do the tables run at? And, can the height of the legs be adjusted and, if yes, how much?
This is very cool but honestly I have and can play all of the tables on a 70 inch 4K tv at home. The table itself looks really good but I’m not so sure about the screen quality.
SO SO cool. It appears you guys knocked it out of the park with this machine. My ONLY wish is that the screen was just a bit bigger, though we understand there’s a cost / feature trade-off. Can’t wait to get my hands on one.
Look no one has been more excited about these pinball cabs 1up is releasing, but the competition is obviously won the pinball wars of 2020 With the AT games pinball machine they use a 32 in playfield and its a 90 or 95% to scale(it's solid too at around 150lbs) stream games, online multiplayer and the DND is like a 10 in I believe. All that and for only $50 more then the 1up pinball.
Big fan of Zen and these machines look great. In the Attack From Mars machine will we be able to toggle off the animations like we can on the console versions of the games? Thanks!
I'd love to have this in South Africa as I'm not the DIY type. It will probably not be distributed here so I'll bide my time before looking to ship and wait for the second wave that will presumably have wifi with online leaderboards and the ability to hopefully purchase more tables. Zen also responded on their Facebook that this is running at 60 fps but only at 720 p. I can live with that, but it is definitely not ideal. I hope that gets beefed up for wave two, especially now that it is looking like the new generation of consoles will be able to run FX3 at presumably 120 fps. Minimizing of lag and fast response time is king in pinball.
I would love to get this, but the timing with new consoles sucks. Wish the marquee was a little more interactive, vs the last bit of space on the play field. Would feel more immersive if somehow you could utilize the entire play field for pinball, though I understand the marvel zen games are all like this.
Is there an option to "turn off" the scores that appear in the playfield and only appear on the head board (like the real pinball machine) and is there an option to "turn off" the white streak when the ball moves to make it look more realistic?
This looks great! The table view is actually better than cabinet mode on pc. Unfortunstely for some reason on pc, all the stationary views curve in at the back showing part of a virtual metal rail on top of the table. I know this video is on Arcade1up, so this may not be the best place, but Zen can you please provide this view in pc cabinet mode too?
Hey just wanted to let you know that I love your cabinets, just ordered my turtles one. One thing tho, wish the screens were bigger, especially for the cocktail cabinets. It would make it soooo worth it :)
i would be excited if not for the fact you gave 0 information on delay after delay, i was really hyped about getting one only to see delivery pushed back date after date with almost no information on it unless you did some crafty detective search with port delivery. i understand delays but to leave preorder customers in the cold like that was just plain bad business. if you kept us informed i wouldn't mind the wait, but the fact you gave no word even knowing ahead of time is inexcusable. and for that reason alone i'm canceling all my arcade1up preorders and have preordered AtGames Pinball. i know have to wait till may for delivery but at least they keep customers updated. you could learn something from them.......
Can we get the source code for the MAME emulator you used in early cabinets released? I can rewrite your SDL input driver but I'd rather just use the existing one.
Honestly don't know why they didn't collab with zen studios to get tables people already like. Or tried to get the license for the tables already in production, don't really understand who this product is supposed to appeal too.
@@DMac366 That can't be correct. He said something about the plunger buttons being at 35 inches, but if you look at photos of the cabinet, the height of the play field box isn't twice the length of the legs (12 - x = 35). It has to be higher than that.
@@Madlou Well, after doing some to-scale measurements in Photoshop, the play field box looks to be about 12" tall. So that must mean the distance from the floor to the underside of the box must be at least 23". It would be nice to get a real reply/number from Arcade1Up though.
I just hope it doesn't have the wonky buttons or the terrible viewing angle as my 1Up pacman cabinet has. The idea is great but found the arcade 1Up units lacking in quality.
I trust Arcade1up and Zen Studios to make a compelling gaming experiance and exciting pinball machine worthy of the $550-$600 price point. There are other companies that will try and give you everything and the kitchen sink at roughly the same price point..if its to good to be true...It usually...it IS. $600 is a lot of money for most of us...leave those machines to the modders/tinkerers and enthusiast that can afford and discard those products like they are nothin....those cabinets are for them.
The 24" screen is only 1/4 scale, compared to a full sized table. It's just too small. Toyshock uses that size, and I have a hard time seeing the ball, at 24" size. The 7" DMD is way too small to see. Please, give us a larger set of screens. Wouldn't hurt to give us more than just ten tables, too.

@@perryhill9746 True, but where AtGames blew it on their table, is the dinky little 15" backglass display. I do like their 32" play field display, though. I did see a video, showing the Arcade1up pins having a lift open monitor, to access the solenoids, which will be disabled, first thing, so it looks to be possible to swap out 24" for at least a 29" display, with a bit of modding.
Hi. I worked(or cleaned) real.pinball machines & tested them.to.write up.work order to be fixed by our mechanic. The first thing usually that Had problems WAS the plunger(people & children fooling around with them!! What do we do if plunger goes?( can we still.somehow play?) Next thing that went on real machines buttons(from some people & all children tap, tap, Tap, tap, tab constantly) to.break.them(if.that goes can we some how still play the game? Or are we back to.console b& ipad? Are u.the company with the 30- day warranty? I.been wanting smaller more affordable version for 15yrs!!! If u are the company with.30 day warranty?'WHY ONLY 30, days?? Please tell.US please!! The pins I.cleaned were in a casino with heavy casino employee &tourist use. Don't remember how long parts stood up to.abuse? It was 1986-1988!! THANX
in my opinion, the marvel vs cabinet, both versions as well as the pinball are not selling well or won't for some time just because they picked the worst timing to release such good cabinets, the ps5 is releasing this month, as well as the xbox series x. both consoles $499. the arcade 1up cabinets are are trying to sell people $500 cabinets and not selling any new cabinets at $299, so they are forcing u to buy the riser which is like $40 for an additional $200, really! we know wat ur doing arcade 1up. we're not paying $500 for these cabinets, they're $299. but hey u do wat u want as u now priced urself out of competition as everyone is gonna be buying a console or saving up to pre order one. i was gonna pre order one of the cabinets till i saw the $499 price for marvel's cabinet, no! then i remembered the ps5 was coming out to i opted out and went for a console. u guys know better to price your products right. u don't sell enough of these and when u do u make sure to always force us to buy the bundle which only comes with a riser and charge $200 more making it $500. for the last time, price these at $299!!!!! especially with this economy and covid crisis. all cabinets need to have a lit marquee, a lit coin slot. wats hard stalling leds? hell make them an additional upgrade. btw u guys picked the worst time to release all these cabinets this month, knowing the next gen consoles are wat people are willing to pay. Zen could’ve put this out themselves, why even partner with Arcade1UP. Overall it looks like a really good product. My only wiggle is I wish the DMD and screen were just a little bit longer.
My guess is a few reasons, but probably mainly distribution. If you've got an awesome new product... it helps to get it out there by being friends with the big guy on campus who has a lot of friends to help you get a larger reach.
Just making all the required contacts overseas would be an immense undertaking - add in shipping / distribution / new kid on the block, etc. Makes perfect sense.
@@melcrose As far as production, logistics and distribution, of course, it is mutualism at its core. My statement stems from the point that Arcade1UP is viewed from the true enthusiast perspective as just a novice, introductory product. Look at Stern, love or hate them, they are many months behind production in a Covid economy, incredible. Companies like Chicago Gaming, JJP and now Ice Games have been making their mark in the home arcade market. I believe in the future there is room in your portfolio to make a more upmarket virtual pin. You’re software is spot on and name is already known. I am a fan of your games and own quite a few tables from steam. Point is you guys have an opportunity to take a larger piece of the pie by making a product that will be the gold standard in the virtual pin home arcade market. And if Arcade1UP can produce it, then I’ll be in line to buy.
All that nudging and real solonoids is great but this can never feel as real as a real machine. Can’t wait for some one to review it and show all the flaws
so is this all virtual? like there's not even a real ball and track it runs on? that stinks, that's the whole fun of it. I wish they had the real balls
