Incredibly, GTA is still the best, and it was never intended for that purpose.

@@Seriousmods I always say this is because all these other attempts at police games focus on the wrong groundwork first. GTA is a great police game because the devs focussed on creating excellent movement, physics, driving mechanics and shooting within a detailed open world setting. These 5 things are pretty much always where these Police Simulator games are falling short, making them look and feel janky. They have all the police-specific mechanics, but I really feel that if I wanted to make an emergency services game I would first create a really good open-world walking and driving simulator and THEN focus on implementing police specific mechanics. Unfortunately, GTA is such a good base because a huge team with a massive budget took years to create it, so I understand the difficulty.

@@GeorgeThoughts Totally agree. GTA is just a good game all around. Putting police into it is making something decent into something different. Most of these police sims are relatively flat worlds with limited capabilities and the title police on them. They never impress. Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is probably the best, but I've yet to see any action that was exciting. No shootouts, no car chases. Just questioning people for repetitive littering offenses.

I think that was the least of our worries

The second game had the same depth but better physics and mechanics, this one was honestly a downgrade. This one even has loading screens for traffic stops that's crazy. This game is so unoptimized and just outright bad compared to it's predecessor. Who knows they might make it into something great one day because the second game is truly awesome. Just wish there was an American or Canadian police DLC lol

@@blackfalcon1324 In the third one it's for all of them but that doesn't happen in the second one. The second one is just way better.

I mean, those are German sirens... more or less. The sound doesn't quite fully line up with the two-tone sirens that go with that lightbar (or, the siren system that is built-in), but they are similar enough.
