Universal Studios Hollywood has been doing technical rehearsals for Super Nintendo World, so we had to go check it out! I went into the park not even knowing if the land would be open on a holiday, but surprisingly it was AND it wasn't busy.

My first stop was Toadstool Cafe, where I was the very first guest of the day. Here's what I tried:
Super Star Lemon Squash (boba drink)
Toadstool Cheesy Garlic Knots
Luigi's Pesto Burger
? Block Tiramisu
Honestly, everything was pretty tasty, it certainly exceeded expectations.
Next up were a couple of rounds on Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge. It takes a little bit of time to get used to heads-up display and just the general game mechanics, but after you get the hang of it, it's really fun!! The Rainbow Road section took me oooout.
If you make it this far in the video (lol), we take a little intermission to go explore the rest of the park on TikTok Live. Jurassic World, Secret Life of Pets, and the Studio Tour were all walk-on. But of course that was just a brief detour until heading back into Super Nintendo World for one last match of Mario Kart. The coin collecting and achievement system is SO MUCH FUN, it brings a lot of re-playability to the ride and explorability (totally a word) to the land.
Super Nintendo World really hits that nostalgia sweet spot. We can't wait to come back again and again.
