I am retired and have taken up metal detecting as a really good excuse to get out of the house. I live the Australian bush and metal detecting has given me a fantastic interest. another hobby of mine is leather and canvas work. I learnt the trade as a young lad working with my mother and father in the family shoe shop. working on leather bags and shoes. my mother was an amazingly capable woman who believed that if someone else could do it so should we be able to. I leaned a lot from her.
