First Look at Tokyo Revengers Manga Omnibus! (Standard & B&N Editions) 

Super happy they are finally being published in America!! I only wish we got full color cover art for both volumes in both editions. Maybe putting them in the back like the Berserk Deluxe does. Really glad they didn’t censor the Manji symbols though.

At first I disliked the english omnibusses because I prefered how the japanese singles' cover arts looked, but seeing the spine design of the omnibusses has changed my mind on that.

I asked at b&n if they had this in stock and I got lucky. Definitely happy to start collecting the tokyo revengers manga ❤️

I can understand why they did so, but the removal of the manji symbol in the cover art background really makes the covers seem more empty than the originals

love this manga/anime not only because it is an amazing story but reminds me of my highschool friend group, excluding the bikes (we just hungout on foot lol). the fact that they kept in the manji symbol makes me ecstatic, when i heard they were releasing the manga in english translation on paperback FINALLY, i was worried about censorship. tbh, i feel like they didn't need to include an explanation of the symbol but in todays culture here in the west i do understand. people will get angry and try to censor it without the explanation, claiming that the symbol is ignorant when in reality not knowing the japanese meaning of the symbol and criticizing the use of it makes the critics ignorant.

kinda whack that the "exclusive" cover is just volume 2's cover instead of some of the super cool variants they have for vol 1 in japan

I love Tokyo Revengers so so much. I’ve read manga 3 times online. Just started collecting the manga. It’s truly a beautiful anime and my favourite aanime and manga. Really portrays delinquents well and the plot never plateaus it’s always keeping you on your toes. Takemichi is such a beautiful and relatable mc. The things he goes through makes you go wow I’d be like that as well. An amazing review on this awesome anime/manga. Also season 2 is amazing.

Picked mine up at Barnes and Nobel today. I actually prefer the regular cover so I may pick up both for kicks

As a side note and a heads up, the Berserk French collector's edition for volume 41 that I sent you an email about some months ago seems to be in stock right now on Amazon Europe. I managed to order a copy from Amazon Germany so I'm pretty happy about that. Seven Seas did a great job with this release. I'm super happy to hear that they're continuing to collaborate with you, the fact that they're sending you early copies is awesome. The color pages in the release are a nice touch, it seems that they also included the cover from volume 2, so I assume they'll continue doing the same which is great since that means that all of the cover art will be displayed even if these are omnis. I also definitely appreciate the uncensored manji. I adore Tokyo Revengers so I'm happy to see if get a proper release in English, finally!

So right now for these editions of Tokyo revengers since these come with two volumes in one book so far it goes up to vol 11 to 12 I was looking online and you would need to but the regular versions from there on for now not entirely sure when they will release vol 13 to 14

I recently bought the manga Tokyo Revengers in English and noticed that the surfaces, for example, the spine or the cover, are different. Some are rough, and some are smooth. Is it the same for you? Is this intentional from the publisher? And if so, why? Why aren’t they consistent? Rough or uniformly matte or uniformly smooth? Or is it just me? A production error?

Yea I’ll definitely get this, I hear people talk about the series. Have you read Gantz? I’m currently reading it and I’ve never read a series so quickly, I absolutely love it, it’s a pretty crazy series.

I think I only have 2 or 3 series from Seven Seas, but I’ve heard a story that some of people doing the translations are purposely changing things to a different meaning, not sure if that’s true.
