My unit's ANC feels non-existent. But this video says its close to air pods pro.... And in the ANC test in this video, original ambient sound sounded no different from jabra elite 4 active ANC on (but there was a difference from the apple airpod.).

Hi guys. I really need your help plox. Right now I have at hand both the JABRA Elite 7pro and the Sony 1000XM4. Thanks to your help I tuned the Sonys at the point that they sound more sparkly so more similar to the Jabras (also with the help of some silicon buds I swapped from some old Sennheisers). On the other hand the JABRAs cut a bit much through your hears so I tuned them as well (not too much since they don't respond all to well). Now I'm torn. I still feel like the JABRAs are a bit clearer, although they lack a little bit of bass compared to the Sonys. Which one should I keep? Maybe some tips you might suggest also for the Jabras? I loved the ones for the Sony and almost died through the rap section. Also keep in mind that I also listen to thousands of hours of podcasts so quality vocals matter a lot too. Thanks guys the channel is a gem.

Just bought it and out of the box, the bass was not punchy enough for my taste so I just used the equalizer in their app and used the bass boost preset which made it perfect. You will definitely like it.

I am not finding these tests translate to the real world. I returned my Elite 7 pros yesterday after walking beside a busy road with wind and no one could hear me on a call. I switched to a Plantronics 5200 and problem solved. They seem the same as the Sony WF xm4s which use similar technology with the same poor results.

Hate mate, I had the Elite 3's for acouple months and now have the Elite 4's. The Elite 4's don't seem to have any noticeable hissing sound unlike the Elite 3's

Use the pinch method. One finger on the button, one between the ear and the earbud, and pinch it.

I'm from India. Could anyone please suggest if I should pick this one or Jabra Elite 85t? Is Elite 7 Active significantly better than both? My concerns: Audio quality, ANC, Software interface, Connectivity, Battery life. In that order. 🙂

The 85t has 12 mm drivers and is marketed as their premium ANC so i guess if sports use is not needed the 85t it better? It's not great for sport activities tho

@@Notstuuuu problem is, 85T is being offered at too much of a discount, it's similarly priced as Elite 4 Active, and it has a lot of customer complaints about the left bud making weird sounds and interference problems in case of EM fields.

I suggest 4 active. The 3 not active has no ANC, and the 3 active costs as much as the 4 active, but since it's more like an afterthought, it uses more power on the battery. 4 active lasts longer, and the price is the same. Consider also elite 5, which is an upgrade from 4 active, but the price is not the same.

No, but you should be able to go in a bathtub with them, since they're IP57. But IPx7 means "Complete submersion, Limit: 1 m. for 30 min". If you think you can swim on the surface and never drop them, as if you don't go near the time limit, you should theoretically be safe. But that's just playing with the devil.

Lol, "cheap"? These things are knockoff 75t's, with less features, and a higher price. I've been getting 75t's for ~$80 for like 3 years (+$10 wireless case) . $40 refurbished deals.
