@pkrskinkaphant4612 I hope you are right, buddy. The lasting memory of my first Grand Prix was the noise. Was stood opposite the pits at Silverstone before they were even there. Hamilton straight now. We heard the first F1 car Spyker 2007, screaming down hanger straight. Goosebumps thinking about it.
Well, the proportion in power between the ICE (petrol engine) and the electric engine will be, in 2026, quite close to 50/50. That means much more electric engine power than before, which probably will result in a more "vacuum like" engine noise @@Morgen_Xhad
@@SuzQI also noticed that you didn't open the double DRS on the other straights, only on the pit straight and on the kemmel climb... And in the 26th regiment, they say they will open this new DRS all the time, on all straights without limit
Finally, finally a video of this car on the track, in the next one it puts the Speedometer so we can follow the speed... This car is very slow, but due to the design and larger floor similar to those of the 2017-2020 regulations, these cars will evolve a lot with the times.
The physics and aero model isn't going to be accurate at all this early, so there's no point in putting any speed information. At the very least, there's no point in trying to glean anything from it if it were there. Modders will need to have IRL track and sector times to calibrate the aero model and powertrain.
Yeah a V8 would be nice. Most pollution doesn’t even come from the racing cars, the carbon footprint of F1 is 90% from the transportation of the F1 circus- boats, planes, trucks.
Correct, Idk why most people don't know this - racing cars are barely responsible. F1 could also at least do 5 cylinder engines which would sound like V10s
it's not about the percentage of pollution that they're responsible of, but about being an example for the rest of cars, the face of the future, contributing to the development of hybrid vehicles through the cutting edge technologies developed....
Ahh man, I hate how the Halo blocks the view of the front of the car on the on-board camera, you can't see anything, they should change the camera position so it's higher up so you can see the front of the car again like in this Ferrari video at 1:09 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NKAYobN_Yoc.htmlsi=8Q03MWAVwM2j0Oyo , or just put a new camera on top of the Halo so we can see something.
Yep. The onboard cameras are very bad these days. Camera looks distorted and restless, too much zoom, bad tilt angle and the position could also be a little higher so that you can see more of the front part, but fom is too stupid. It's all about politics, money, etc.
The smaller car already looks better on track. It's not as much as I'd like to see, but it's a step in the right direction. Gonna be exciting when RSS and VRC start releasing their mods.
Yes, if they wanted to simplify, they would go back to the 2011 Kers, add a twin-turbo V8 or V6 engine and increase the revs and we would have good sound, and the cars would be fast and light
@@MotorStonder They both do use completely different audio files, one might be louder than the other. It’s possible that the engine will be louder in real life though 👍
Drs on front wing is not safe. These cars have many question marks about safety. Think they will postpone at least one year before we actually can see team cars.
I like how the fia builds their own car, say "this is what we expect" and the teams are like "yea no fking way we'll build a car like that. See this rule book? Were not reading whats in it. Were reading whats NOT in it" lol. Honestly tho that would be a nice retirement job for newey. Just design these useless things every few years lol
The name DRS has been dropped, but the front and rear wings can be opened under the name Active Aero. This seems to work anywhere on the straight for more than three seconds. My latest video explains it.
looks extremely slow, erratic and bouncy in the corners, good thing these aero regs aren't finalized because these cars will not be fun to race or watch race
Weak grip for (very) fast turns!??????? This simulation is fake! But F1 2026 car will beat various or many track 2020 records at qualifying session due to the best middle front wing. We remember the best middle front wing between 2005 and 2008 was most grip before slick tyres backed. 😉
It will absolutely not be faster, even in official FIA website it states it will have 30% less downforce and 55% less drag, less combustion hp, more electric
