I love my geissele super duty 16in, and it tickles me pink seeing all of these awesome reviews on them. During black the black Friday sale i plan on buying an 11.5 super duty and a 14.5 urgi upper to do something cool with.
Ordered a psa sabre 10.5 chf upper last year, and immediately sent it back. Ordered a 11.5 URGI a few weeks later for 200 bucks more. There is no comparison. If you want a weapon you can trust your life to, get a Geissele.
What's the difference in a super duty upper and a URGI upper? I know that real URGI uppers feature a DD barrel. I'm talking about geissele produced URGI uppers. They appear to be exactly the same thing. A geissele upper, a rebcg, a mk16 rail, and a geissele 14.5 CHF barrel
Urgi has a government profile barrel. Also it comes with a surefire 4 prong. since giessele makes all the parts in house the only difference are those 2 things. Personally I didn’t like that the urgi came with a government profile barrel so I built a super duty but color schemed it like the urgi.
@@IkfNorCalChamp the URGI sold by geissele does not have a government profile barrel. It has a geissele chf modern tapered barrel. But, you are correct about the 4 prong. That appears to be the only difference.

OK, first of all that was not a first look that was YOUR first look apparently, and it may have literally been your first look because I can't tell if you even did any preparation for this video besides looking up or pulling up the basic spec sheets for the basic characteristics of the rifle itself. And to be frank with you I don't feel like you actually know very much about rifles or the A.R. 15 as a platform or the engineering of what you're talking for things like the physics, and I definitely know that you don't know very much about ballistics because the reason that you gave for why you picked a 14.5 inch barrel is because of that recent grand Thum video where he takes a bunch of different length uppers all from the same company, and then just takes some ammo and shoots basically all the same rounds through each of the different uppers all onto the same target at an outdoor range with an elevation difference between him and the target and there was wind and I can't remember if they even chronograph everything or how much information they actually gave you about even the bullets themselves and like what any testing did it would've shown because I don't think they were choreographing all those rounds that uppers of all of the common lengths are going to shoot those specific groups at his specific sea level and humidity and the elevation difference between him and the target and all that basic stuff right, the information that you get from that video is not going to always translate 100% linear or straightforwardly between rifles and it's sure as hell not going to have consistent performance between rounds different manufacturers or rounds with different weights and powdered charges, whether they are from the same company or not so saying that you picked 14 five just because it looked like a good option in the grand Thum video is not a particularly good reason and you should probably figure out what you're actually trying to use the rifle for and what you wanted to be able to do and what you wanted to excel before you just a rifle length and decide to drop you you know $2300 or whatever on a Geist rifle with a particular barrel length and all the other stuff set up in a particular way to have certain properties and certain characteristics when it sounds like you don't really know what you are talking about either, with this particular rifle or with AR 15s in general, and it definitely sounds like you don't really know anything about this rifle apart from maybe what you looked up right before you turned on the camera and now you're just reading a bunch of spec sheets at us when that's something that we could do for ourselves in 30 seconds by going onto Google and typing super duty spec sheets or going into Google and typing popular AR 15 optics and optics mounts 2024. Like I don't even know who you are or what your channel is or what you even do. Like do you do you run a business or a website or are you one of those clowns that buys AR 15 parts and then just screws them together and call yourself a custom AR 15 builder because you twerk down a few bolts and staked a few screws, or are you just like a dad with a lot of, expendable income that is trying to become an influencer or something like that because honestly, you didn't give me anything in the video that made me feel like I should watch you for anything because like I don't know what you have to offer or what I can gain from you or what you could teach me because it sounds like you don't really have a lot to say about anything and that you just get all of your purchasing decisions from other shows on RU-vid and now for whatever reason you've decided that you want to become a chill yourself so that you can also be on the easy train that they have from just being a bunch of talking head to chill products all day and get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to chill like a bunch of clowns and for some reason, you are expecting us to think that you are doing a" first" look at a rifle. It's been out for a while and that everybody has an already knows about and you can't even seem to understand things like why there aren't very many companies who want to waste money by making very niche or specific kind of offset mount for a red dot or sorry. I don't know if you're talking about a reflex site or the red dot, but it sounded like you were talking about the reflex site. And so it's not surprising that there aren't gonna be very many companies want to waste money and making a very niche 45° offset mount that will play extra nice in particular with your EO Tec mount just so that you can mount a shitty reflex site on the gun which I don't even understand why you would wanna do it that way instead of piggybacking it or buying a different reflex optic that isn't total trash like a Konor I don't know like one that doesn't have ridiculously unnecessary problems. Despite the fact that it should just be a normal reflex site, but Vortexx for whatever reason just cannot figure out how to make a proper reflex site that doesn't totally suck and you don't even need to have like a super Duper special offset 45° mount for something like that anyway, you can just get one that will fit the vortex footprint, which there are plenty of those that will run like the doctor footprint or whatever footprint your specific reflex site is going to use or you can just get one that is more generic and will accept plates for various other bills or whatever, there's a bunch of different solutions to this problem or you can have one made at a local machine shop or you can 3-D print one out of metal or out of polymer or something I don't know there's a lot of stuff that you could do I feel like there's no reason that people should watch a guy who says that decided completely what his next build was going to be because of one test that one particular RU-vidr did with one particular company and one particular package of ammo that isn't gonna translate over to all the other variables that are going to come into play here and when it sounds like you don'select even basic accessories or parts without confusing yourself and so I hope that you're not trying to make this your day job and that you've already quit all your other jobs or something because this is not going to happen for you unless you start taking this seriously Also, I'm not sorry for all the grammar mistakes in this post, because I am busy working on my HKUSP compact right now and my hands are greasy and I don't want to type anything so I'm just dictating all this to you with Siri dictation and I'm pretty sure that U2 webpage glitched out a few times and canceled parts of my messages and my recordings halfway through and so there's probably a bunch of stuff that I said that it didn't get saved or it may have mixed up but whatever you figure out I'm not doing this for me, I'm doing this to help you and making sure that you're not like I don't know quitting your job and focusing on this full-time right now and like spending all of your savings on rifles and such because unless you start actually learning something useful about rifles or doing something interesting with rifles that actually provides value to people who are watching you then I don't really see why you're bothering yourself with your you're stupid AR ammo dad thing because first of all nobody likes Dad's and second of all it's very patronizing and cringe for you to name yourself something like this when you clearly are not even an expert in the I don't care if you think that I'm being too harsh that I'm like being high and mighty or whatever I'm telling you what the truth is and you can either accept it and embrace it or you can reject it and flounder and die at 1000 subscribers or grind away for the next 10 years and like maybe a few dedicated followers who are probably gonna be horny, old gay men who are closeted homosexuals who wanna be able to look at you and say sweet things to you without actually accepting that they are gay because no one who is trying to get information about guns is gonna watch this
