FIRST LOOK - Martin Custom Shop 000-18 1937 - EMPIRE MUSIC 

I played this very guitar at the Empire Shop last week. It is louder than any dread I have and highly articulate!

Love it. Exactly what 00018s should have been all along. Pre war bracing, adjustable truss rod, no stupid banana yellow “aging toner” or roasting the wood to artificially age it. Just let it’s natural beauty show and let it age the real way.

So basically Martin brought back the 000-18 Golden Era with a 2500 upcharge. Even with all that said, I want one!!

Nice. I'm more of a fan of the 000-28 version. Just prefer rosewood on smaller guitars. Bigger sounding. But I'm definitely interested in the d18 version

Wondering the difference of the custom shop 000-18 and standard 000-18

I thought the difference between a 000 and OM was scale length. The 000 was 24.9", but this doesn't.
