Thinking of buying one for my 2004 f150 5.4 3v. Does the powertrain have upgraded motor craft timing components, cam bearings, and Melling 360 oil pump? Price? Thanks
I dint know about the cam bearings but yes to all of the others. They are super low pressure and easy to work with so you can go to their website and see the pricing and they will answer any questions if you call them. I went all in with the extended warranty and their install kit and I came in just under $6000 (that includes all state/federal shipping and taxes).
@@DailyBrewGarage Was going through powertrain products worth it? I had a remanned motor put in from "Reman engines" about 4 years ago, and now, 50k miles later, oil pump seized and motor is gone. I want to be absolute sure that I am not getting ripped off again with a trash motor. This is for a 3v 4.6 motor also. Thank you!
@@treyarrington8051 I am only 6k miles into this engine but so far I have no reason to not use Powertrain again. When you talk to them on the phone they seem very professional and knowledgeable. I did pay for the "full blown" warranty that is basically a 7yr unlimited mileage, no fault warranty that includes towing, rental car, and labor cost for any repairs. They are low pressure so I suggest giving them a call.
