Picked this up for $229 from the Skullcandy site while on sale. These are worth the money I just wish it opened more. But the bass is insane. Listen to a song like #1 by Dev at Max bass and it will rock your head with it's vibration. These are fun headphones not audiophile but its not meant to be.
i feel like they should be worth $200, a $50 premium. With a frame and control based on the original crushers. These headphones sound like an upgraded crusher rather than a whole new experience on its own. $150, $180, and $200 sounds like a better price range for this line up depending on what your needs are.
there are discounts & Promo codes out now that put the price of these headphones just over 200 bucks! I agree with you about the price. 300 nah ill pass but 200 ok ill see the difference for myself.
I wish the haptic bass behaves as a 16hz subwoofer, hitting lower frequencies harder I mean gradually from lower to the lowest, not flat. I think the design is great the adjustable touch is very cool I think they just need to polish the bass response like a more real life situation, maybe not having a peak but to increase intensity gradually as the bass goes lower, just like a real subwoofer and have and option to go loud or limit the sound. The crushers wireless has a very good built quality if this can drop the price that would be great, if they wanna go for premium quality they did a great job on the build. I still believe this is the right track for Skullcandy
Damn! Initially I was super excited for the crusher 360 but after seeing your review I'm having second thoughts. I guess I'll go with the original crusher wireless. They are more worth the money and the battery life...epic! Great video though! :) 👍
It has less battery life because it has way more bass than the originals, they’re more comfortable by far and the 360s are only 40 dollars more on amazon
I am glad you were critical about how low the haptic feedback reached and how it messed with the mix. I like how the Crusher Wireless has a more limited haptic feedback range for a more concise and organized sound. With double the price tag of the Crusher Wireless I feel like the 360 is a blah headphone. Especially since the $180 Venues have ANC and these $300 cans don't have ANC. (But that build quality though 😍) Only if I could mate the Venues and the 360 together right now.............
@@riv7797 I don't think so man those are so hard to find and they're getting ready to discontinue them. Most places are either sold out or says they're on clearance.
Great video bro!! I know you said you're going to compare the two, but the crushers ice tried have this type of tingy sound like the bass isn't really bass you know? Do these actually sound like bass? Or do they sound like it's just some speakers rattling around? Once again great video love your passion deserve well 1 million plus subs bro!!
Hey man. I just discovered your channel and I really like it. You're straightforward and you don't talk about unnecessary things. Could you recommend me some nice budget gaming earbuds? I'm looking for a long lasting pair which costs about $20-$25. I'm considering buying the KZ ES4, because I also need earbuds for my phone so I can use it for both gaming and music. What do you think?
I love the video, thanks for giving us an idea on how they look/sound. But i got one question, should i get the crusher 360 or the venue. I cant make up my mind (the pricing isn't a factor)
JKey, their website says the bass sensory cannot be used in wired mode, mind giving us links to where they confirmed it. I do really want to see it as my sensory slider does not work in wired mode.
Some are saying these have a lower max volume than the previous crusher wireless. Is that true? Also how does the max volume of these compares to that of sony xb950n1?
Gamesky if I bought Sennheiser pxc 550 for 282 on amazon would you suggest returning them and getting these? I listen to hip hop and always love some bass
I bought the Hesh 3 for $100. I love them. Also, $300 for headphones is kinda ridiculous to me. And yes some of you may come at me saying it's going to break, but I have a 2 year warranty if they do. I can easily replace them.
I have Bose QC35 for long time and i want this. Skullcandy Crusher 360 has not released yet in Australia. I'm very sad and disappointed it takes too long to arrive.
@@OfficialGamesky Skullcandy is killing it with the Riff Wireless, the Set earbuds the Crusher 360, The Venues Etc, Skullcandy Along With Edifier Are Killing It LOL.
Damn finally I see a review for the new crushes 360 I've been waiting for this for ever I just got my crushes Wireless and I wanted to see if this one are better cuz I'm going to want to get them
Man that black an brown looks sexy 😍😍😍... definitely worth having if u have the cash.. great review man thanks.. PS: U Should keep that box on ur table it adds to ur setup nicely lol
These and the Bose QC35 aren't for the same demographic. Bose has incredible noise cancelling but the bass is blah. Where the Skullcandy's have no noise cancelling and bass impact that is just fun to listen to
Thanks. I wish the Venues had the build quality of these. I wish these had the isolation of the Venues. If I could pick and choose different features from different Skullcandy headphones I could build a monster set of headphones
Gamesky Skullcandy is still climbing that ladder when it comes to making better headphones, but it’s great that they’re listening to consumer criticisms. I looking forward to their future releases.👍
sound is actually very similar. the noise cancelling is a nice touch and I feel the clarity is better but....the Hesh are still good for the money. i would say wait until the Venue's go one sale. Skullcandy's always do
well im using a pair of crusher wireless & they clamp on to my head with such force that veins start to pop up from sides. Try these suckers on before blindly placing orders online.
Did they fix the problem where the headphones crack where it extends? Because I love skullcandy and the crushers but I’ve gone through 3 crusher headphones in 6 months. I really hope they fixed that because I want to get them.
I had the white ones crack in 5 months and I babied them. I bought the black ones and have dropped them, and no problems 7 months later. Must be different plastics depending on color.
Anyone know if they work with Xbox party chat? I know the crusher wireless don't work very well as people will hear themselves echo when using them, was wondering Crusher 360 has the same problem.
Do these also fit really tight like the Crusher Wireless? That was one of the things I hated from the Crusher Wireless. I tried making then fit a bit loose by leaving them opened over the box it came with but they never loosened up.
Thanks. my opinion is that it does have more clarity but the bass frequencies these can pick up makes it almost unlistenable on some tracks......unless you turn the bass down. i think it's an improvement, but not for that price. The Crusher Wireless is so damn good and half the cost
@@OfficialGamesky hmm thanx man...I love mu crusher wireless! this is gonna be a hard one I'll test them out I guess...looking forward to the comparison video
I think were the bass boost will shine is when listening to a complete album. I'm the kind of guy who still purchase CD. So technically, i should be able to adjust the bass and not have to touch it again for the duration of the album (Theoreticaly)
you can get the Poco phone with latest Snapdragon 845 and 6 gigs of ram for 300$ lol, skullcandy maybe started to take Apple approach after the success of the Crusher wireless, little improve here and there and BIG price bump, not cool
200 is way expensive but sence i am a love of bass i have to save up quite a lot to buy the skullcandy 360 headphone. I have now got the skullcandy crusher wireless and i am still happy with it to. However i will wait for the price to drop on skullcandy 360 headphone and maybe i will buy it but who knows. But as i say £200 is a little bit way expensive.
I had the original Crushers and I loved them, they were only $100, the felt cheap, yes, but they were worth it and the sound was phenomenal, when they broke I wanted to buy the second generation but then I saw they were $250, I thought that was too much and now the third generation is $300, that's just ridiculous. I think for that price I would go for the Sony XB 950 B1
it actually does sound better on most tracks. but the tracks that these pick up the low frequency range on makes the bass too overwhelming. and that's coming from a basshead
When I first read the news about the Crusher 360, I was really excited. But as more details about these headphones came out, I got less enthusiastic about them. The touch control only applies to bass level control, the battery life is lowered, you can't control the bass in wired mode anymore, etc. Don't get me wrong, I love my Crusher Wireless to death but $300 for a new model with less battery life and half-assed touch control, I think I'm gonna have to pass on these or at least until the price is more reasonable.
How is it half assed touch control? If you have never even used it how would you know? lol I have a pair and its pretty responsive and works well better then I thought it would
@@jeffgordon4288 I have a pair myself, mine have this problem where the touch sensor somehow adjusts the volume randomly (it doesn't happen often but it happens, try circling your finger around the touch sensor). Mind you, I returned that pair and the new pair is still having the same issue. Also, there's no indicator of your current bass level besides the lights from the back of the ear cup, so sometimes I have to take them off just to see what level I'm at to adjust it. Another thing is at $300, you should want a pair that have full touch control, not just for the bass control. Sony did it, no reason why Skullcandy shouldn't do it. Besides that, I actually enjoy the pair, didn't pay full retail price on this pair by the way.
I love the crushers but mine are broken XO I take great care of my headphones and these bad boys break so easily. I have the other old crushers and yet they survived getting crushed by me falling off my skate board !!!!!! All I did was the them off just the same way as I do with most of my headphones and *snap* the sides that hold the speaker cup broke. These better have better build quality !!!!!
Way to go skull candy, you added what should have been a great feature, but added it so bad, that it's nearly useless! Why would you get rid of the bass slide?!?!
I do agree it takes away from being able to accurately adjust the bass to where you want it. Bass is better in these for sure but you have to constantly adjust for almost each track
Thanks man....it will be hard for people to ever see Skullcandy and not think BASS. The Aviators was one of their best but they didn't have alot of bass. You can tell they're trying to bring out more clarity
I had the crusher wireless but ended up returning them, I loved them and had been excited to get them for months, but their clamping force was too much at times, I often got headaches even though I listen to music at low volumes. I tried stretching them out a few times but due to their metal build they'd return to their original size. Maybe it's just cause I have a large head but I wonder if these would do the same thing.
@@OfficialGamesky I'm happy to hear that, maybe if these are on sale one day I'll pick em up. I can't justify spending 300 on this I'd rather get something like the qc35 or mdr100x.
Both are great but I would personally go with the Crusher 360 unless you just want to have active noise cancelling? although, at the right volume the Crusher 360 can block everything out too
