It’s a pll, an oscillator that tracks the pitch of a signal. It’s so fuzzy because of how loud the signal coming into the circuit needs to be to track it, pretty cool stuff tbh
Late to the party but they have nothing in common at all. Plasma coil is a distortion pedal with a build in 'octaver pedal' ( yes technically it's a bit different but that's what it functionally is). This pedal does... I honestly have no clue... but it seems not nearly as useable as the Plasma Coil xD
if the pedal ignores your playing and just plays a note it wants, then that’s unusable. I love weird sounds and that but i could not think of a place to use any sounds i’ve heard here. If Jack White got good sounds out of that, he’s a genius.
Love it. Don't care if Jack White uses it even though Jack has done really cool shit. I would get this even if Donny Osmond or Justin Bieber jerked off with it. It's amazing with delay. All in all, a very cool and usable(occasionally). I have around 5 different Fuzz pedals and pedals with LFO's so I'll probably pick one up at some point used for less. 9/10 rating. Thanks for the Demo.
!!!!!!PLEASE Mantic, rerelease the PRO FLEX Pedal (which is no longer available). It is so much better than the "Third man records version" which doesn't have three of the crucial parameters that the PRO Flex has!!! If anyone knows where I can buy the PRO FLex. PLEASE let me know. I will BUY USED as well
