@@devilmay That isn't always true. It's completely contextual. It is more than possible to not like a certain aspect of someone or something, but also really respect and enjoy another aspect of the same person. It's called nuance. And I am a die hard Jack White fan. lol But music is subjective.

Saw this story in PASTE. Jack and Third Man Records raw and in touch with the groove. Keep vinyl alive and hopefully Pono will be everything I expect it to be as well. FEEL THE MUSIC, AGAIN...and for the first time digitally (fingers crossed).

If you look back at it all - The White Stripes, Raconteurs, Dead Weather, the songs, every little thing about Jack White (at least the things he cares to say in interviews) - you sort of start to get him. For instance his obsession with the number three - it's clear he is a huge Orson Welles fan: The Third Man, and Citizen Kane. And yes, out of his obsession for Citizen Kane, he sort of became the Charles Foster Kane of music - look at this...empire that he's built! Absolutely amazing.
