What do you mean you can finally start watching Disney+ I don’t have kids and all I got is Disney+ I don’t have Netflix or Hulu anything besides Disney+ and RU-vid, I love the Disney animated films

The comparisons to Hulu were just not right on so many levels, as you can see, this isn't Hulu, its just Disney+ + a bit more

Ngl as someone who lives in the US and had Hulu for 2+ years I’d say Hulu Is Erghh is good but having to pay already 7.99 and then another 14 dollars(taxes included) just don’t feel right, but Star feels nice and a Great addiction to Disney+ and is just 2 more pounds is perfect I wish I lived in the Uk Or Europe to get it😔

I did a US video as normal and for the first time did a UK video which includes star. I'm still waiting for AU/CA's March lists. I will be covering Star just like I would Nat Geo, Marvel or Pixar, it's all part of Disney+ for a lot of us

@@united8586 Disney+ is US$8. Disney+ and Hulu bundle is US$14 (US$6 difference) and Hulu has much more content than Star. In Europe is about US$2.5 difference but the catalog is considerably smaller and they don't have the choice to subscribe to it or not.

The watchlist is my biggest pet peeve as well. It only shows so much. :(

Yes, STAR is only for select international markets where Disney+ is available, Hulu on the other hand is already exists in the U.S. But take note that Hulu and STAR aren't the same in terms of the content and features... STAR will only feature content from Disney Television Studios (ABC Signature and 20th Television), FX Productions, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures, Touchstone Pictures, Hollywood Pictures and Hulu Originals that are produced by Disney Television Studios, STAR also has a robust set of parental controls and the ability to restrict mature content per profile and an ability to add a PIN to your profile. Hulu on the other hand is different because not only it has content from Disney's owned networks and studios but it also include content from other networks and studios and it always rotates regularly meaning that content is pulled out from Hulu every month because of expiring contracts or they have pre-existing contracts with other streaming services just like Netflix and Prime Video. But the only good thing they have with Hulu is they offered live TV with over 65 channels including the top 4 networks (ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX) as well as live sports and news.

Exactly, it’s not dead in the water. Disney is obviously warming up to an older audience now it’s time to capitalize on it Hilary duff needs to go back to the negotiation table.

It doesn’t make any sense if Disney made Hulu part of Disney + like they did with star. Because Hulu has live tv and sports. And you can buy other bundles like HBO max and showtime.

NBCUniversal owns 25% of Hulu. They are gradually moving their content to their own service, Peacock. They have contractual rights to also have content on Hulu until 2024. So it most likely won’t be until then when Star could happen in the USA. Hulu makes $ off live TV too. That will decline over time.

The launch lineups have been moving round a little. I think Disney+ just had some things taken off while millions spent ages looking around in the menus. They did the same during the launch period to keep it stable

Animaniacs is an Hulu Original which is produced by Amblin Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation... So, it will not be on STAR.

STAR brand, of course already used in Latin America and Brazil replacing FOX (for us in Southeast Asia, we also used to get STAR branded channels before becoming FOX, as STAR was actually originated from Asia, but I’m not thinking possibility of bringing STAR to US, maybe they will use ABC or others).
