clips from The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, American Dad, Animaniacs, The Critic, and Married with Children bashing FOX and FOX News. Simpsons Fox News Family guy fox news
I believe he named every show that was brought on after Family Guy was originally canceled but then got canceled themselves before Family Guy was picked back up.
It's because the writers are trash a%% re*&(&s that killed Hollywood and your dumbass is too stupid to see obvious propaganda. I hate Fox but the collective IQ of this comment section is three.
I think after the first couple of Simpson episodes, Family Guy episodes and Animanics jabbing at them, they kind of gave up on trying to ask the showrunners to maybe play it down and laughed with it knowing it was going to happen one way or another. Can't cancel the joke then just be a part of it.
@@VinylToVideo A corporation can't be leftist unless their workers own the company. You very clearly have no idea what leftism means. And even with your stupid idea of leftism, John Oliver rips on HBO and its parent companies all the time. Colbert and Stewart ripped on Comedy Central all the time.
@@alyssapc2524 cnn technically has accurate stories, but they always twist the stories to benefit their editorials. After bigger headlines means more viewers. Although objectively Fox is bad.
I love the futurama joke the most because it’s clearly the most vindictive. Describing them being grounded into a powder and using that as a plot device over and over make me cackle every time
@destroyerofturtles5024 wait, that's the reason? Oh shoot, here I thought that the FOX censors don't want any blood or gore of the turkey being beheaded. 😅 Man, that joke really went over my head.
ChristmasStoneThePresentWrapper2K3 // CSTPW2K3 ha yeah! Ben shapiro will save us by ressurecting hitler because the second world war was made up by that communist bernie sanders
Drake Bell ah yes! Aoc is a communist spy from denmark (they cant sell a country so obviously commie) that is working together with TED CRUZ the traitor to make murica a part of xi xinpings sex dungeon
Yeah that's fair enough(even though some of their opinion hosts like tucker carlson make borderline racist comments like "Elmo teaching kids that racism is white peoples' fault") I'm not making that elmo stuff up, check on youtube ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NLzwes9XfEQ.html
AJ Thomas well it’s a good thing trump is just shitting on our country and sinking it lower into the ground then isn’t it! I mean I’ve always wanted America to be a literal joke, just a big laughing stock for other places to say, “thank god we’re not them”, and now thanks to trump, it is! God bless his soul!
Are you kidding? It was typical late-era *Simpsons* cringe and pure projection. I’ve heard funnier jokes from Greg Gutfeld. I’m not even kidding about that. That’s how bad *The Simpsons* has gotten. They have become less funny than Fox News hosts.
@@AttmayIt's pretty accurate if you watch side by side compilations of how Fox treats "left leaning" guests vs how they treat "conservatives", or look through compilations of what they've been wrong about, why, and how they addressed it. Even if there is a show or two on the network you like, they air a lot of content and own a lot of media properties. A lot of those properties peddle trash and outright lies that are either never corrected or corrected in small print much later when it doesn't really matter because the outrage is already there. And as a publisher they are responsible for the content they put out. Not just the ones you support, but all the cranks and weirdos too.
@TheEsotericZebra that's the point dumbass. He's obviously got his panties in a bunch. So he got something up his ass. Do you comprehend? Or are your wires loose up there.
Peter wasn't just naming canceled fox shows, he's naming every show that came out and was canceled after Family guy was canceled and before they brought Family guy back.
I love the futurama one. You see "box" and its like yeah thats almost like fox and then the sign just starts flashing like "yeah guys thats exactly what we're going for here"
They weren’t just cancelled FOX shows, they were shows that came out and then were cancelled while Family Guy was cancelled themselves(yes, *29* shows that, over 3 years, were all cancelled[and many of them came out during that time]). The gag was in the first episode after Family Guy came back(S4E1).
Firefly was the only one i can think of that shouldnt have been canceled but fox ran it into the ground by releasing it in complete nonsensical order and then immediately jumping ship.
like your family crying! like any news network MSN, CNN, BBTV, etc! make that money and buy yourself an iphone made in china because you and americans and services won't make iphone or don't know how to make iphone!
Missing one of my favorites: Lisa walks into the kitchen at night where Homer is sitting alone at the table clutching a coffee mug with trembling hands. "Dad, what's wrong?" "For years, the Fox network has been --" [awkward voiceover replacing Homer's voice] "...entertaining America with hit shows the whole family can enjoy!"
oh my god! you don't mean they'll start entertaining america with hits like house, american idol, and american idol results show i'm afraid they might, but i won't be silenced! the truth is... *2 0 t h c e n t u r y f o x* ok, what i was going to say was *s h h !*
You love your soy lattes and your cnn don’t ya babe? Oh yes you do! As I said with others I won’t read your reply, I don’t care what you have to say, it’s fucking white noise, feel free to talk to your smelly pig SJW friends in my reply thread. ;)
@Ryan Orth Fox News Network's slogan was "Fair and Balanced" from 1996-2017. While that really does constitute a punchline by itself, (since the network is biased toward conservative/Republican politics to the point of blatant disinformation,) the clip is taking a direct shot by having a Fox helicopter pilot scream "we're unbalanced, it's not fair."
@@tonyhoang987 "Most Watched, Most Trusted" or "Real News. Real Honest Opinion." Compared to their original slogan (which was a complete lie), "most watched" is sort of true, as Fox is the most watched cable news network; "most trusted" meanwhile... well, there are a lot of people who give it credence. And while "real news" is a bit of a stretch (their longest-serving actual news anchor resigned in disgust at the end of 2019), "real honest opinion" at least acknowledges that Fox's biggest draws aren't actually news shows, they're just talk shows where the host spends their time spouting Republican talking points.
@@wppb50 I mean, don't act like other networks don't do this either. Just look at MSNBC. Morning Joe is a perfect example. All the youtube titles for msnbc's videos are blatantly against trump or anything GOP related. CNN is leaning pretty left as well. The closest to unbiased is ABC news.
@@Thehazardcat No they didn't. Fox news complained that some of the jokes took it too far, but that's it. It was other news networks that spun a whole lawsuit around it.
Plox The network is often accused of political bias that favour the right (Republicans) over the left (Democrats) so the joke works on 2 parts: First by saying we’re unbalanced to show their bias, then the helicopter crashes while tilted to the right, once again punctuating the accusations. Hope this helps (also not bad for a zombie Simpsons episode).
If you want news these days, memes are your best bet since they take a punch at everyone. And I presume they explicitly mostly made fun of Fox news because that's who they are being managed by, like how Inside Job took ppotshots at Netflix.
That opening scene from Family Guy when they came back after being canceled goes down in history as their greatest joke. "I suppose if ALL those shows go down the tubes we have a shot."
That reminds me of the Looney Tunes feature, "A Tale of Two Kitties", wherein the duo of Babbot and Catstello are trying to catch a certain bird for their meal; Babbot uses a needle to put Catstello up to top of a ladder; Babbat is screaming "Give me the bird! Give me the bird!", wherein Catstello makes a little aside to the audience: "If the Hays Office would only let me, I'd give him the bird, alright."
“do democrats cause cancer?” I CANT edit : all these entitled ass people commenting when all i did was quote something that was in the video have me dead lmaooo
@Gustavo Octavio deCampos If we can agree that AI will get much clever over the next decades then you know that socialism will be the only possible way to avoid famine in a world with massive unemployment. If you can get to accept that inevitable future perhaps you can do one little extra effort and educate yourself. I mean, someone just showed you it is the right way; put aside your indoctrination and keep learning on your own.
"Socialism" is the new fancy 'I win' word among these kind of people. Much like those who decried that everything was "communist", they don't even know what the word means, they only know that saying it makes other like-minded people join them and pile on whoever they are accusing of being that word.
Because cnn greatly exaggerates things or completely lies all of the time such as claiming Donald Trump fingered a woman without consent, or that Russians tampered with the votes.
CNN is nothing but a corporatist, neoliberal hellhole. It bothers me to no end that they are portrayed as liberals. They are establishment, corporatist neoliberals. Don't ever forget that. Same goes for CBS and MSNBC.
To be fair, it was mostly FOX shows making "fun" of FOX News. Two different demographic entites. A lot of FOX and FX shows are pretty geared towards liberals with a lot of liberal producers/writers/creators. Fox News on the other hand, don't really need other shows to make fun of itself, they have Tucker Carlson for that.
@@savagebuck hey at least Fox overall is free platform with different opinion and clashing mentality. Even o. Fox news they can have conflicting opinion between cast
[remembers what they did to Brooklyn Nine-Nine] [remembers what they did to Titus] [remembers what they did to That ‘70s Show] [remembers what they did to Raising Hope]
Respecting freedom of speech and open discorse/jokes even though you don't agree with them is a fundamental part of the constitution and "the American way". By letting this happen they are actually being pretty conservative.
Christian Fischer conservatives believe in family values and freedom of speech. I believe they bring shoes like Simpson because they bring family values and the family together
The Breakfast Megapowers The sickest burns made at fox, by fox. Its like punching yourself in the face cause if someones gonna do it, you want the best!
The most important thing here is money. Even if the shows take jabs at Fox, they're still making way more for the company than it's losing in PR with one-off remarks (or even whole episodes). Family Guy has made endless amounts for Fox over the course of 19 seasons, they can give the network shit all day (at least up up a certain point) and Fox execs will just laugh their way to the bank.
@A J basically they wasted their money on Fox they really didn't get a whole lot out of it. Family Guy in The Simpsons are way outdated. They may not even own the Predator movies for long.
@@Dashiell777 Disney owns the distribution rights to the Predator films, as Fox was bought out by Disney. - A message from His Imperial and Royal Majesty, Kaiser Wilhelm der Große.
@@kaiserwilhelmdergrosse1871 actually the people behind the Predator movies are trying to sue them for the rights to the films. Because before Disney bought 60% of fox. Their deal was supposed to be up for Fox. Basically Disney is stalling until they run themselves out of money. Basically what I'm saying is there not this friendly company they wants were.
