@@ihadfunplayingcutthroat rolled tails (its a heads coin) and rolled a 13 yi sang rolled heads (heads dodge coin) while having defense power up 1 (adds 1 power making his dodge go from 13 to 14) and since yi sang rolled higher, he dodged
I find it funny how he's the opposite of Heathqueg in the sense that he has too many coins on S2 for how much count he gets while gaining a ton of potency, and Heath can easily stack 30+ count solo but really struggles with potency I wonder if Captain Ishmael passive is meant to help both of them? Like idk, "When gaining Poise Potency/Count, also gain 1 Poise Count/Potency", but that'd be a really broken passive for poise units
I don’t have pequod yi sang yet, but I feel from first impressions he’d probably fall behind outside of the context of solo’s or unfocused battles. He lacks the poise gain with one skill slot to ramp up to the maximum potential of relentless stabbing, and is only decent at clashing, needing 5 poise potency to get his S2 to a reasonable clash value (which he can get quite easily from his S3, but in focused battles, unless you drop a team member, that boost likely won’t last too long)
What looks REALLY insane to me is harpooned heathcliff. People were complaining you had no reason to use any ID on heath other than rabbit, so they made rabbit again except with tanking capabilities better than most of meursaults ID’s. Only real downside is the reliance on envy, but considering almost all of the best ID’s in the game have atleast one envy skill, it’s hardly an issue
@@The_pain_train I got lucky and pulled both IDs on my first 10 pull, and heathcliff does seem good, I might use it over rabbit just for the aggro and not needing to rely on bullets. I haven't had the chance to try out yi sang yet because I'm a bit too low on thread to uptie it at the moment, but it does definitely seem better if you have a smaller group. I think whenever captain ishmael releases, and you can do a team of just these three pequod IDs, they'll make a pretty good team, with heath tanking, yi sang ramping up in poise and damage, and ishmael doing whatever it is ishmael's going to be good at.
He’s the opposite of Heathcliff R corp honestly, he relies on poise gains which can take a while if he’s with allies, RabbitCliff would fit in most if not all team and has an insane clashing power plus damage. Even if he’s out of power, he’ll still be able to clash, deal moderately okay damage.
i cannot stand the rolls these enemies are getting how on earth are they rolling below my coin power and they proceed to spike up to 23 clash power or something
Offense level, perhaps. For each 3 difference in offense level, the higher side gains 1 final skill power. That's why you really don't want to play with underleveled sinners.
Now I cannot decide, do I upgrade First Mate or Spicebush. Hitting 5 critical hits in a row is such a beautiful thing to watch, but so is Sinking Deluge. I might upgrade First Mate first just because I do not have the Sunshower Ego.
First mate Yi Sang is good when he solo since he can build up poise faster. Unless if we get a poise support id then it will take a long time for First mate Yi Sang to get his poise ready
