xD My corporate email has a mandatory disclaimer at the bottom of every email I send, confidentiality, etc. I put "I like donuts" in the middle of it to see who would catch it first. It's been two years, no one has seen it. If they have, they aren't talking.

Aha... you are mortals!!!! Ha! I am so enjoying dad Steve and Max’s teamwork. Craig , I suppose, is not interested in actually making the candy, yet his contribution is invaluable to the growth and success of Hercules. Max has really grown in to his work since I began watching. My first video was “unpacking the enrober,” then I back tracked and caught up. I wasn’t sure how much he was involved, he looked interested but not confident to me at that time. I appreciate how Max’s skill and confidence has evolved so greatly. He really enjoys the work, it shows! If you haven’t adopted him yet, you should. He’ a real HERCULES now. I am very interested in how things will continue to develop when you make your move to the new location. Best wishes with all of that ! Beth P.S. I have a theory, so i use youtube 3-5hr a day on mobile, and i realised that i dislike, 4-5 video a day by accidents and those are the ones i realise, so for 30k views 25 is quite normal to me, id be surprised if one was genuine.

At my favorite chocolate store here in St. Louis they have a special display case where they sell all imperfect/ defective candy at a discounted price. That way there's no waste and the customers may buy some of that in addition to their other favorites. It's a win/win.

I so want to order some chocolate but I have to wait till winter. I live in Vegas and it's way to hot right now. I'm impatiently waiting lol. I love that you guys are a family operation and have been in business for so long. That's great. It's awesome to see! I love seeing y'all's success and I appreciate you taking the time to show us how you make your candy. Plus you all are so entertaining and that's a huge plus. My pastry bag rec for Max is to use his left hand up top to squeeze, and his right down near the tip to guide it (I do it opposite but I'm right-handed, but whichever way is more comfy... I know Max does a lot of "right-handed" stuff). Don't squeeze from the middle. That kind of spill can happen anyway, though. Sometimes pastry bags just split at the seams and FLOOMP, just what we saw. But the basics are to squeeze like a tube of toothpaste, from the top down, and keep folding or twisting from the top as it gets emptier. It was fun to finally see a bit of a goof on the video! :-)

I don’t know how but you really need to try these pretzels with caramel and chocolate. I make them every Christmas and no matter how much I make, it’s never enough 🤤🥨 I just push a bit of caramel on the pretzel before I dip them in dark chocolate 🍫

You could install a large indoor glass window between the showroom and the kitchen where customers and groups of children could watch the candy-making process. Send each kid home with a small bag of candy sample and a business card. Just a thought.

Pick a wall in the showroom to showcase the history of your family business with matted and framed old photographs or newspaper clippings. When your new place is finished you should have the local Chamber of Commerce advertise a open house ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate your expansion. It's 2am here and all of these thoughts are racing through my mind. HA! It's been a while since finding your RU-vid videos. Happy to see your business expand into a new building. Congratulations!

I don't know which is funnier. The fact that I waited the entire video for a MAJOR "Lucy and Ethel" chocolate making moment, and only got a teensy white choc spatter, or near the end of the vid I noticed, as I kept thinking of "Lucy & Ethel" and that episode, when I noticed the barrel thingies actually say "Lucy" and "Ethel"!!!!! Have these been on before?!?! Too funny!!

They looked so yummy those pretzels. And you got lucky two times while filming this. And you got an exploding bag of chocolate on film and second. It missed you. 😂 The conversation at that point had me in a fit of laughter. You calling Max amateur and Steve so easily agreeing. Loved the banter and sarcasm. That's what makes the videos so fun besides the candy making. The slow mo was perfect and so was the end where you nearly crawled into the enrober following the treats. Nice! Both my parents worked in pastry all their lives. My Mother used this bag made of canvas with changeable tips to decorate cakes. I know because I'm the one that washed the greasy icing off everything. They lasted for years, actually still got them! I bet one of those bags wouldn't bust on Max.

I've been working as a pastry chef for 3 years and we don't hold and use and fill the piping bag like that.. if you want to squezze from the middle, you dont fill the piping bag that full because it can expload.. but maybe that max's piping style 😍🤗 everyone's different i guess..

Y’all may have already tried this but would the diner kind of mustard/ketchup bottles work for the white chocolate in this kind of method? They wouldn’t bust but I don’t know if the opening on the end would be too big.
