These videos have been so helpful. I’m getting my golden retriever pup in two days. He will be 9 weeks and it’s my first time with a pet. I watched so many videos that seemed really complicated, especially with the crate. We got one just in case. But I like how buddy has a bed and is free to roam around and he is still so obedient and learning quickly.

Oh my .. he’s losing his infant look and developing into a most beautiful boy Labrador💛. I know you both are totally in love with Buddy 😍🥰😍🥰 Ice is nice and I see Buddy has another luxurious bed. It is good you are playing with his paws and he is getting used to you touching his paws. It will make it much easier for you to clip his toenails. You should start doing that now... even just snipping off the tips of his nails so he becomes accustomed to you doing it. That way as he grows up and his nails get thicker to cut he will be used to you doing it. I love how you spoil Buddy .. I wish all dogs had it as good as our dogs do 💓

I am getting a new puppy in December 1

He will continue to bite until about 1.5 years & that's how they explore. After that age, he will outgrow this phase. But trust me, that is how they bond with you - the unbreakable bond. We have a 3 yr old GSD & when we got him he was also 8 weeks old.. first couple years can be frustrating but the best will come..!!

My kid got a lab dog like the age of your buddy and after a month I was laughing sooo hard bec My kid said that she wants to return her dog because she is the dog from hell.. that’s because she bites all the time! Lolol.. I told her, when god gave you a child or a dog, do you want to tell god that you wanna return it?? LOLOL.. I told her to buy lots of rubber bite toys bec they are teething.. and now that dog grew up sooooo sweet and became my kid’s most beloved pet. The dog is like her child now! She spoils the dog a lot, baked her some cookies, make scarves for her and yeah trained her SOO many tricks. Have patience, that dog will be your most love member of the family. Like your child.. BUY THOSE RUBBER TEETHING TOYS!! HAS TO BE RUBBER.. IT SOOTHS THEIR TEETH!! AND TRAIN HER TOO TO STOP BITING, JUST KISS.. THEY WILL LEARN!! GOODLUCK!! TRAINING STARTS WHEN THEIR YOUNG. BUDDY REMINDS ME OF MY GRANDDOGGIE NAMED KAI.
