Thanks Bro for this awesome idea, today done the change in my bike and it all went well. What a relief from wrist pain and excellent seating position. Luckily it doesn't touch my visor. Need to experience how it feels in more than 100 km rides
Welcome bro! Happy to hear about it. Mine is touching the visor a little bit only. May be you'll have to cut the edge or grind it till the point where handle will pass through it without touching.
Can you please ride and review it with the new handle bar installed how was the experience with vibration and agility of the bike and overall riding experience ..TIA
Bro, I have already done the initial impression video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CRI2M_k2aHg.html Hope you'll like it 🤗 Thanks for the support 🥰
TVS is heavier, due to larger size of the stem. Bar ends also heavier for the TVS. I haven't noticed any speed/handling issues. Due to the wider handle setup the leverage has increased and so does the handling, became much better.
@@exhaust_tales Thank you so much. I have brought the handle bars of Apache 200 4V. However my mechanic faced problem of cable shortage, both for clutch and throttle. Did you change those cables as well?
Pro tip You can use Honda shine or unicorns bs6 model accelerator cables for better throttle experience for raised handlebars.. Cut the Windshield edge with angle grinder.. Then wrap it
If this seems like too much work you could simply loosen the pinch bolts on the clip-ons and move them to the top of the fork legs. You'd have remove the circlips. That extra 15 mm of height does make a difference and it's a very easy, zero cost job!! And easily reversible if u change your mind (which u won't).
Actually I tried that as well but never felt safe and it was constantly hitting my mind while riding at higher speeds. So I chose to change the handlebar for better riding ergonomics and safety as well 👍🏼
Hi, I am having series back and neck pain, undergoing treatment for that. I am thinking of buying this bike, and changing the handle bar later. Should I go for it? Am I taking the risk of injuring my back? Will this bike will be as comfortable as himalayan?
I have slightly raised the seat cushion which helps to reduce the knee bend pain but need to get a longer viser to deflect the wind since company visor is small and wind hits the chest and face.
Sorry bro, I'm using that as well. Shifting between original and TVS handlebar to know the difference in ride quality. If you wish to buy new one try instagram page stock_nuts.
I did this today on my CBR250R. I got the handle from TVS showrom from Pune for Rs.3600. It is really comfortable now. Now I just need to change the clutch cable because it is short. Your video inspired me. THANKS ALOT. Some people do these stuff and don't share. Thank you for sharing this!
You're most welcome bro 🥰 Happy to hear that it worked for you 👍🏼 Let's make more modifications to make it our ultimate touring bike. Thanks for the support 🥰👍🏼
Bro, stock handlebar is uncomfortable for some people, when riding in traffic with pillion. All the weight comes to the riders wrist and it gets really uncomfortable and painful. For such cases the TVS handlebar is a great solution. For solo riding stock handlebar is enough, and I have mentioned it in the videos.
