Great review dude!. I thought the Fuzzlord HM-6 was versatile, this kicks it up a few notches. Those dip switches are cool too. I only just found out that he's across the ditch from us. Fantastic work @tonyPepers!.

Finally, thanks for the demo. This pedal might solidify as one of the better and more versatile ones. Even more at this price point. Respect to Tony for creating this filthy abomination!

Just a quick point... The Hyper Metal was transistor based on the EQ rather than op-amp, so the OG HM-3 was a little more subtle. Tony did a great job on this pedal none the less.

Really nice pedal. If dialed in correctly and on the right amp, the HM3 setting can get that 90s USA deathmetal tone really well.

I played in a band with a guy who used a 4 input 800/hm3 and it sounded killer.

Bro you always have great insight here as to getting extreme metal tones, any suggestions if this could get anywhere near an under the funeral moon era darkthrone tone?

@@mikerauter1859 Cheers mike! well from what I gather up to Transylvanian they used hm2's- but in the opposite application of chainsaw. Try dialing the eq into the low numbers, all way left even. What people perceive as a boost to the high end is more likely an absence of other freq's. :)
