I primarily watch these for the humor. The pedal info is just a bonus. I'm never disappointed.

I love how these guys are so agnostic about gear and how passionately they praise their competitors. When I am rich, I will buy one of every JHS pedal. For now, I will watch the RU-vid.

I know of an American company who came out with a great budget line and who pay their employees a fair wage here in the United States, they're called JHS.

I was waiting this episode since a long time!! I already have almost all the standard series (the MXR size ones) and it's just outstanding!! For this price it's almost professionnal... By the way on the Preamp pedal: Coral Reef is the Two-Rock Coral, Blue Eye 100 is the Friedman Brown Eye, the MB 5TH Gen is the Mesa Boogie Mark V and the HVE 5151 is obviously the Peavey 5150...

So far I have the stereo delay, the distortion, and the stand-alone auto-way pedals from Flamma. All of them sound fantastic. The stereo reverb and modulation pedals are on my to-buy list for the near future. Great brand.

Been watching since day one and without a doubt, jam wise, this episode had my favorite tracks! Great tones!

One of the really cool things about the preamp is that it is a 2 channel amp sim. It has both the clean and dirty channels of those amps which you can switch between using the footswitch. Not only that, you can set the EQ for each channel separately. I use mine mostly for headphone playing and it does a great job for that. The cabsim is OK, nothing amazing. But it's cool that you can turn it on or off depending on if you are using it with a real cab.

I have had their reverb pedal on my board for almost a year now. Delay too, its been on my board for a few months now and the tape is just right, I love the degrade control. Love that you covered this.

Picked up the delay and reverb a couple of months ago. Surprisingly good pedals. I wish they'd put the mode settings on the side of those like they did on the preamp pedal.

When I see digital mod / verb / delay / amp sim pedals with lots of voices, I can't help comparing them to a full-blown multifx like the Zoom G3n (or even the plastic G1 four.) I assume it is far easier to tweak individual pedals while you are playing, but the accessibility of saved pedal chains and the cost-per-available-effect is just mind-blowing in the multifx.

I'm coming to really love this channel. The humor, the expertise, the music, the personalities, it's all great, something I now look forward to every day as I sift through older episodes like this. Thanks for doing it! Having done it? I picked this episode today because I do have the Flamma mini reverb, and it really is excellent. Great normal reverbs with lots of extremity if you want it, and it even does a reasonable ambient almost shimmer thing. The same day I got that I also got a Behringer Digital Reverb however, which is what I use mostly. I like to refer to my fave setting as "crispy desolation". The delta, but with a thin veneer of space age polymers. Anyway, thanks for proving that the rest of the line is similarly great. I may need that Eko Verb thing, and/or the delay. And yes, I'm always excessively wordy...

Great demo of the best budget pedals on the market. (Pretty sure they are using Mooer OEM as the delay and reverb are similar to the Mooer 7 series.) Wish you had shown everyone the use of the 2 channels oltion on the Preamp and the Cab sim. Coral = Two Rock, Blueeye = Friedman BE MB5= Mesa Mark 5.

I think eventually JHS videos will either be 100% stingers or be 3 hours long each, and I’m good with either option.

I bought an Ekoverb a few months ago (my first Flamma). I love it so much I bought more from this line. Flamma makes amazing pedals. They are (or now, were) a best kept secret. I’m so happy you did this video. I was so blown away by the pedals in the budget price range that I thought there may have been something wrong with me 🤪

Yep. I have their FSO3 dark blue Delay pedal. There are 6 different effects and a lopper. Really nicely built; coincidentally that 4th effect is my favorite, too. The looper is a bit difficult to use (mainly difficult to reset). “You’ll have to use some vacation minutes or something…”. (Roofle)

Flamma are made by Harley Benton, a budget guitar company who make outrageously good guitars for really cheap. I have a Dual Humbucker Tele from them that absolutely rules.

Watching this while drinking my home made coffee. (A secret that big coffee doesn't want you to know btw. Homemade coffee is the loophole to having both coffee and gear). All this coffee hate has me slightly triggered... It could be the caffeine, not sure. I'll just wipe my tears with the instruction manuals of my pedals.

I have two Flamma's. They're fun to play with. But I didn't keep them for myself. Gifting them to my teenage daughter who's gotten into guitar and music.

The Mod Galaxy jam was amazing, reminded me of the sounds on My Vitriol’s album Finelines. They were a bit of a flash in the pan over this side of the pond but well worth checking out.

I'm a new follower, usually play acoustic, really enjoying the channel! Using all my Discover points to buy some pedal. All the jams were great, Blue Fungi: double +, Break Room Blues: yes. The last one was pretty nice too, 'kinda U-2. Happy Trails!

You’ve got those drums mic’d up really bloody well.

Not that it's hugely important, but one thing that I found with my Flamma modulation pedal (the bigger one in yellow) is that it's labeled to run on 300mA. I measured it myself and it was pulling more like 200mA. Still, it's one of the highest amperage out of all of my pedals so I kinda keep an eye on amperage if I'm daisy-chaining it.

I have the “big” modulation pedal, the yellow one. It’s great, I haven’t fully explored all it can do. It’s a little annoying that the list of modulations is on the side of the pedal, so when it’s stuck to my board, I can’t see what the different modes are. I had to print out a list which is now another piece of paper on my desk. I wish there was at least an abbreviated description on the front of the pedal. There is room for that. All that said, it’s a great pedal for a great price.

This is a really great introduction to the FLAMMA pedals. Think I will be getting more of these in the future, (or maybe today, as they are on discount at Walmart for the Holidays). Just got my FS22 today, and I love it. Also got the Flamma FS05 Modulation pedal. Great combo. On sale at WALMART, with free two day shipping 11/23/2022. FS22 = $80, and FS05 = $60. Here are a few early observations on the FS22... First of all, it sounds amazing. All 3 programs are as described, with no background noise. With the Level controls turned fully clockwise, you still hear the direct input signal. It does not turn down the input, it only adds delay/reverb to the signal. Therefore I would not normally use this, in an effects send/return path in a mixer. It is better used in front of a mono/stereo amp, or in an guitar amp effects loop. Position 1 Reverse delay, has no highs rolled off on the repeats, with the tone control placed after the delays, not in series with the feedback. The other two delays have the tone rolled off on the repeats, so as they repeat they get more rolled off, with each repeat. The reverb and delay, run in parallel, not series. In other words, the reverb does not go through the delay, and the delay does not go through the reverb. They both go directly to the stereo outs. It is true stereo, meaning, there are two separate mono effects, with no cross talk between the left and right signals. Left input goes to left output, and right input goes to right output. Unless you only plug something into the left (mono) input, in which case it goes to both L+R outputs. You can plug a mono input to the Left input, then patch the left output into the right input, and take the right output to your amp. This runs your input signal, through two copies of the Delay and reverb, in mono. Like having two mono pedals in series. Be careful with your amps volume control, because this setup can get intense and go into feedback, if your delay feedback is turned up high. Quick note about the FS05 Modulation pedal.....it is easily the best modulation pedal I have ever played through.

I know this is off base but could you please do a video on how you get your drums to sound so good. Mic positions and Processing etc. they sound better than most of the drum channels. If you have already done this and I just missed it please give link. Thanks

I’ve had a Flamma FS02 Large Reverb pedal for about 2yrs, it’s a really nice sounding reverb pedal, really well built, able to save 7 favourite reverb tones ( 1 for each type of style reverb) cost £65 new in UK, excellent for that low price.And I’ve still got change to go and buy a coffee or two!!

I started doing a stereo thing about a year ago using a TC Electronics Mimiq and a BOSS MS-3. Have an old friend who just asked me to play with them. The hitch is it's a silent stage (minus drums) with IEMs. I just bought the stereo cab IR pedal amd can't wait for it to arrive!

I love you´re intromusic I could drive for ouers but I dont have a car, and the jams today got me sentimental. It bruoght me back to the 80s highschoolmovies.

I've bought two Flamma pedals. Both failed within minutes. The Ekoverb would work for about two minutes and then needed to be power cycled to work again fo another two. The Modulation sounded broken from the moment it was plugged in and became entirely non functional after about 10 minutes.

“Vacation Minutes” was my old bands future name.

Just never stop, really! I want all of those on my new pedal board. Maybe a board for every pedal builder...jus' sayin'. The last jam, your fave, made every member of U2 cry in their pint. The edge? I think he's taking a hammer to his gear. Love what you guys do! Sam
