Hey I'm french and i left Yu-Gi-Oh in 2020 in part beacause of the covid, and my favourite deck of all time was Salamangreat so i'm happy and a little emotional to see that salamangreat still win championship ! Congrats !
Is there a combo video with your list? I’m a returning player and I want to know how the zealandis otk works and how you play into your endboard on turn 1.
You'd be wrong in thinking Fire is better than Debug. You lock yourself out of Parallel Exceed, Cyberse Wicckid and most importantly Bagooska Fire is a huge bait
@TheTriforceFede I wouldn't say 100%, because fire works better with terror top, code of soul, and pyro phoenix imo. I do think debug is better (it uses parallel, meowmine, kash engine if you want to, s:p, ty-phon, wicckid, and zealantis better) though, but it's not 100%. Both work well if you build it right, but debug is a bit better.
Besides salad names, debug can search code of soul for pyro phoenix plays if you're on that And as others have point out she doesn't lock you, which makes exceed crazy Not only can you use it for bagooska/wicckid/splash mage into heatsoul, debug + exceed also gets you to princess in gy + a reincarnation summoned raging phoenix with it's search + search from debug without even going into any main deck salad names And you can easily access salamangreat of fire with stallio later in the combo anyway
Very much so I played a 50-60 card list can't remember the exact count at my pre release store event and got 3rd out of 20 people going 3-1 with 1 loss to undefeated snake eye player and 1 win against snake eye, 1 win against ice barrier, and 1 win in the mirror.
Oh no, Salad loses to a specific 2 card combo since you have to bait out the balelynx protection first. Oh the horror! Edit: actually the more I think about it, the more stupid this is. The salad endboard has roar to negate the 2nd dark hole/raigeki, and raging phoenix could revive if you manage to have 3 board wipes anyway. Plus even if you manage to break the board anyway with your evergrowing collection of dark holes and raigekis, you still have to deal with the handtrap suite salads are able to run, as well as the followup they are able to have, with 2 cards. Your entire idea makes no sense.
@@e-tan3911 also if you're on a code of soul version of the deck, you just negate the 2nd raigeki/dark hole, and still end up with pyro phoenix blowing up your opponent's entire board + princess for a monster pop and followup Salad is actually kinda crazy rn, it's not hard to see why they're the only deck withmore than 1 premier event wins atm besides tenapi and snake eye
Salad does not lose to raigeki+dark hole, end board with 1 balelynx protection+1 omni+1 raging phoenix reborn+1 gazelle summon after destruction so that princess would be usable, in that sense u need at least 5 destruction to completely wipe their board with 1 card left in ur hand against their massive handtraps and follow-ups next turn. I am pretty sure u never play salad before
I play it pretty often and decent hands can play through two hts pretty easily. The endboard is also pretty good, so I dont agree with it being easy to stop :P
@@HugePowerMarshadowit's also had premier event tops fairly often since phni and has the 3rd most premier even wins in lede format (with 2), right after snake eye and tenpai ofc No other deck has more than 1 premier event win in the current format
