Mount Caburn
Was the venue for my first post lockdown flight, and I arrived late out of design and necessity. The latter being due to work, and the prior because I wanted a quiet first go on my new harness. A quick hike up to the top and I launched just before 7pm, with only Carlo, Nancy and one other up there.
I found the hammock style harness.... different. More easy to weight shift I think, and more reclined. Nice and comfy on a quiet ridge soaring evening, but I’ll need some good thermic flights to get used to it properly.
6 mins of Caburn ridge soaring and a flight down were really enjoyable after my enforced layoff, so here’s hoping for some stability during the rest of 2020.
