He is INCREDIBLE!! His name is pronounced “low-eek no-tay “. He’s from Belgium. Check out his live covers of Chandelier, Lost on You, and World Is Stone. And don’t miss his French song “Mr/Mme”. It’s so emotional. Turn on subtitles so you can understand the lyrics. Honestly you can’t go wrong with anything he produces. Doctor and Candy are his character creations about the descent into madness of a man at the hands of an evil witch… very fun for Halloween. Very theatrical! He wrote the songs, produced the videos, choreographed and did AMAZING acting in them both. He is truly a quadruple threat! Enjoy the ride! Once you become a Loic fan, there’s no going back! 😊👍🏻

Thanks for your reaction, Tom! Many of Loïc's songs carry a personal message. Kids were making fun of him and accused him of being gay etc. because he was interested in dancing and not in the usual boys' stuff like playing football and he also has a high speaking voice, a "girly voice" as he said. So being different from others, he is talking about being judged etc. in this song. His way of dancing is called contemporary dancing. He had dancing lessons for 10 years and in 2015 he competed in the French version of the show "Dancing with the stars" where the contestants have to show their skills in all kinds of dances like Tango, Rumba, Quickstep etc. He won btw. I don't know if you like to watch dancers but entering his name on RU-vid and "danse avec les stars" will show you his perfomances in the French show. He is a great singer, dancer and choreographer. On his channel there is a short musical called "Candy" (a crazy Halloween video that is a bit disturbing at some parts lol). He has designed the costumes for this video. I think your wife might like Loïc. He has different kinds of songs. Some dance tracks (e.g. Heartbreaker has a bit of a Michael Jackson vibe), upbeat songs like Mud Blood or Team 8 and melancholic songs like 29, On Fire, or his only French song Mr/Mme (which has intense lyrics, the video has English subtitles). Maybe you'll find some songs of him that are more your style of music.

Finally another channel reacting to Loïc Nottet who is one of my favorite male singers. Thank you for that. He has a powerful and unique voice. As some people already mentioned he's Belgian. In Belgium they speak French in the southern half, Dutch in the northern half and there are very few German speaking regions in the east. Loïc's mother tongue is French but he usually sings in English. He is 25 years old and he became better known in Europe when he represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015.

I don't know what your style of music is but Loic explores many style of pop : dark pop with Mud Blood, The One; upbeat pop with On Fire, TWYM, Start it from the end; pop-trap with Doctor or Candy; latino pop with Rosa Maria; romantic pop with 29, Gun; epic pop-rock with Mirror, Poison. This guy is very creative and a very sweet human being (and his voice is so atypic...)

This guy is from Belgium,he took part in Eurovision 6years ago with Rythim Inside,and got 4th place. Not exactly my style of music,but that song was really good, especially compared to what we usually send😛you should check it out. Quite different from this one,though

Yes Loic!!!!! He's awesome, he's a singer, a dancer, a composer, a choregrapher, a writer. He basically can do anything. He's a huge fan of Sia. He did a music video, a cover of Chandelier, and Sia herself loved it! He won Dancing with the Stars in France. His first language is French but he sings in English. He did one powerful song in French, Mr/Mme (Bruxelles), you can watch it with the English subtitles, very very deep message. Otherwise, I recommand you 29, Mudblood, On Fire (the acoustic version though), Wolves (live). OMG Loic. 😍 I liked your reaction. This guy is a true artist. His song 29 is awesome (slow and sad but beautiful). It's about his breakup with his g/f that happened on an October 29 (that's where the title comes from). For a faster track and more of his dancing skills I would recommend Mud Blood. Also "On Fire" is great. There is a music video and an acoustic version of this song on his channel. I would definitely go for the acoustic version.
