I was there for this. Right in the middle of the mosh pit. We were about halfway between the stage and the sound tower. It was as intense as it looks. This performance is Without a doubt one of the great moments of my life and I feel fortunate that I was apart of something so special. I am grateful to be able to re-watch and see how special of a moment it really was. If someone ever doesn't understand the appeal of heavy music, show them this video. It is epitome of how powerful heavy music is. I was not a Korn Fan before this show. After this show they became one of favorite bands and I am going to see them in Michigan next Friday. Stilll rock live after all these years.

Korn is so special, so unique. They started their own metal genre without trying to be anything but themselves and nobody else comes close. When I first heard that album (their debut album) and that was the first track... I was just in shock - 4mins later and I've been a metal head ever since. 🤘

Jonathan Davis said the crowd was so big he finally figured out why it looks strange to him because the people in the back heard the song after everyone in front of stage because the sound had to travel that distance. He said you could literally watch the waves of sound hit the people it would start in the front and go out ... you could tell by them reacting to something. That's Insane

Really happy you enjoyed Korn. When there debut album dropped in 1994. I was hanging out with my bestfriend and his brother came by my house to go to the mall and this album was playing in the car. Blew my ever living mind. When we got to the mall I bought the album for 10 bucks. I've been a massive fan ever since. Jonathan davis is my favorite metal vocalist of all time, fieldys bass playing is crazy, head and munky are the greatest guitar duo ever and David is a very underrated drummer.
@jmfernelius
@jmfernelius 3 года назад
Spot on Analasis of the individual band members. Head and Monkey created a new sound for a guitar duo. Fieldy's and David's contributions were perfect and could not have been done by anyone else. David gets no credit for his drumming to this day. While his drumming was not amazing he has to be considered a game changer in heavy drumming. This whole band created a new sound and could not have been done without each of these guys as individuals

I was up front, stage left 🤘 this show was crazy. I’m 5’2”, so when the crowd shifted like that, I was just picked up off my feet and suspended in the human ocean a few times. I loved pits since the first time I had a tooth knocked out in one. When you heard that guitar sound, knowing he was going to say, “Are you ready…?” You could feel the energy in the air was like, “oh no but fk yeah” 😂🤘I love your reaction. My favorite part of concerts is the crowd and it’s why I have such a terrible concert addiction. There’s only terrible footage of this show or I would say to watch specific parts of Rammstein playing in Massachusetts in 1998. We weren’t allowed fireworks there and we were all super excited about this German band. The crowd went wild and - it’s Rammstein.

The waves you see were literal waves of people.

I went to Woodstock 94 and 99. Heavier bands at 99 but I preferred 94 anyway, even with the rain and mud. The combination of selling beer at 99, and with hot temperatures on a military base with very little shade, price gouging for water, etc and it ended up a bad scene. Blaming Limp Bizkit for unruly fans that gave zero shots about any rules or people around them was pathetic. We left early on Sundsy, missing the fires and real destruction. Even in a good setting, 3 days is a bit much.
