That's what have been happening to me that each performance of Mori is new to me and refreshing. I would never get tired of listening to her despite I've been listening to her for over 10 yrs and i always get amazed. There's always a surprise she never runs of explosive twists and tweaks. I'm addicted to her voice snd i can't explain why...maybe because she's one of the best in the world and i love her open throat technique..she can freely sing with ease and power.

Mori is the most creative improves female vocalist in the world. Of any one song, she can totally suit her taste with added her own twist to become her own version. Whatever she sang the song in the past and she will make it slightly harder for her next venue. That is why listening to Mori will never get bored and disappointed.
The passion of singing live is what mori loves most...mori loves to perform live especially infront with large crowd,, and she interprets a song a better way in every new performances.. adding new flavor makes the song more appreciatable
Now you know and understand why Mori was nicknamed the "Asia's Phoenix" after this Asia Song Festival performance in 2017 in South Korea. That is amazing, mind-blowing. And to think that that's her first time performing to a huge crowd of, we can presume, Koreans, who were there not for her but for their Korean idols who would perform in that same event. But she had the courage to perform these difficult songs anyway, and she nailed them! The Koreans were so impressed by her, that they invited her again to the next ASF the following year 2018 -- the first time for a Filipino to be given that honor and privilege. That's how she sounded in 2017 then and it was so so good. Never been afraid to do live performances especially whistles, we know risky it is. She she just nailed it every single time. As a side, Morissette did so well in this performance that the organizers invited her to perform the following year. And she's the only artist who's been invited back to back. What a physical beauty Mori has, and her charisma is infinite like her stratospheric talent, she is a super star already at her young age. In my opinion she is the best young vocalist of this generation.

Some performers with big stage like this will needs some orchestra back up groups etc, but being alone swallowing the big stage with your own voice is phenomenal.
This is one of my fave performances of Mori. The second song reminds me of old school VH1 Divas type of feel. Talk about commanding the stage. 🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤Go Mori. It’s good that you enjoyed this performance. I recommend that you watch her 2018 performance of the Asia Song Festival. I prefer the 2018 performance over the 2017, even though she was having problems with her vocals at that time. For the 2nd song, she sang the last part in Korean and that was what she was referring to as doing something she hasn’t done before. Enjoy

she owned the stage for sure, but the audience were like the terracotta army - as still as. what a shame her energy on stage were not reciprocated by the audience. if that was at the Grammys would have been a different story. my 2 cents...peace out brother

It would seem that our dearest Mori is being deliberately ignored by the controlling and influential elements of the western (US & Europe) music industry because she is a threat (market share) to their own talents, projects and investments. Plain and simple.
Yes Morissette is one of the best in the world. Music industry in Europe and USA don't pay attention to one of the best artists in the world. I hope Mori can gain more fans each day out of the Philippines.
They deliberately ignore her because they know that she is better than the vast majority of commercial streaming singers, they have nothing to gain from Mori, it would simply be very strong competition, vocally Mori takes them all ahead, she is the most complete of this generation.
