I don’t know how I’ve got here, cause Im in Moscow (Russia), but you choose all the rock bands that I listened to since 2000:) if you want something extraordinary, try this one: Lumen - Sid and Nancy (Russian rock). Good luck and stay safe!
When I was 11-12 (~1999-2000) my parents sold our van to Rise Against. They needed it to carry the drum set and equipment on tour. Tim (lead singer) worked at Carmax and offered to buy it when my mom brought it in. Tim came over to pick it up and handed me their demo, which had a collection of songs later released on The Unraveling (first album). It's surreal that they became a massive band and you're now reacting to their music a decade later. Edit: The demo had Black Masks & Gasoline, Heaven Knows, Halfway there, Like the Angel, Blood-Red, White and Blue, Last Chance, Torches, and Amber Changing.
@@justdave9610 I have it somewhere. There is a box at my parents house with my brother and I's old music and gaming collection. It's probably sitting next to warcraft 3 and Diablo II.
Hey man I just wanted to say, as a huge fan of metal and rock, seeing your emotional and energetic responses to bands that are outside of your usual genre is amazing. You take great care to notice the songcraft and writing that goes into music. Got me hooked on your videos!
Yeah. The only other music reaction channel I follow is nolifeshaq and all he does is yawn when he’s reacting to rock or metal. No respect for other genres imo. Layedbak will have more subs than him before long.
OOOF, that one's heavy as sith man... like a complete breakdown of trust for people that are supposed to be looking out for you and not leading you directly to satan's open hands. I've always been a fan of Dirt Whispered myself
I wonder how many rap/rock fans would love each others music if they gave it a chance. I grew up on both guess I'm one of the few with love & respect for both. 🔥🔥🤘🏽🤘🏽
I started off hating rap and I was into metal. Then I started digging around and ignoring the mumble rap shit in the charts and discovered amazing rappers like NF.
@@ligma212 I mean the September Sui*s were one batch of highly publicized tragedies that happened in a very short window that happened and are now in the past. Have there been more queer youth who took their own lives? Yeah, obviously. But you're basically trying to say that Sandy Hook never ended because there have been other shootings like it.
Rise Against are masters of themes and lyrics with passion. It's a band that requires you really lose yourself in it over and over again to fully absorb it. Also, if you know someone in a dark place, this is one band I'd recommend to help change their life.
It’s so weird, I listen to all these songs daily but when I see him reacting to them I enjoy them so much more Let's hope he can react to one of ours one day
@@arkroyal186 music connects us all. It genuinely makes people happy to share the same passion. I skateboard, so it makes me happy to see others enjoying it as well.
It's that joy we used to get showing a friend a new band or song. I remember the enjoyment of showing a friend I band I love for the first time and this brings that feeling right back.
It's like sharing a new or old song with your friends and then reconfirming why you loved it based on how you see your friends' reaction! Some reaction videos/youtubers are just farming views based on reacting to popular stuff. The reason I love LBDFR is because he responds to stuff that is new, old, popular, unknown etc. Genuine responses, knowledge of musical composition. Just great friggin' content to watch!!!
I wish I could like this more than once. I still remember how hard it hit me when I realized the song was about Hurricane Katrina since I was 10 when it hit and my family lost everything.
I never thought I'd see Rise Against on this channel, they're solid. Swing Life Away, Savior, The Good Left Undone, Give it all, prayer of the refugee.
When this song first came out, I just thought it was noise. After hearing this particular song more and acquiring a more mature ear fo music, this has easily become one of my top 10 favorites. I'm a sucker for lyricism and think this is one of the most lyrically well-composed songs out there.
Seconded. Also, The Good Left Undone, my absolute favorite Rise Against song. Always seems to be overlooked, but it's one of the most beautifully written Rise Against songs of their entire discography. The melodies, the overall song structure, the lyrics, the chorus progression towards the end of the song, the catchiness, and just the song as a whole. I don't see how this song is so overlooked by Rise Against fans!
Man I love watching you listening to all this rock type of music that i have known for so long. Even tho it's not your favorite or best known genre but you really enjoy it and enjoy the small bits in this music that makes it so great. Big up man!
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Billy Talent yet. Many songs to choose from, but I think the most popular ones are "Fallen Leaves", "Red Flag" and "Rusted from the Rain"
Their songs have such meaning behind them it’s amazing. Audience of one has got to be one of my favourites from these. Seeing rise against live was amazing
I just found this channel, and its awesome to see someone enjoying the music that I love and coming at it with a completely different mindset then mine!
@@christianjansen9477 they have been political forever, rise against is about politics and relationships, sorta like how system of a down, one side is about politics the other is about rampant unchecked drug use and tongue twisters.
Oscar Cantu I was just about to say this, the name is just through glass, but I’d argue it’s not weird :) it’s weird that artists seem to think every song needs its title stated exactly in the lyrics, I submit that it does not! Haha
OKAY, I went nuts when you reacted to Three Days Grace, but me and my Rise Against tattoo on my heart are fucking GLOOOOOWING. Keep doing your thing man
Man I genuinely love these reactions. Seeing someone who didn’t grow up with these songs just feel it for the first time brings back soooo much nostalgia
Arctic Monkeys - Do I Wanna Know? Could react to this song, it's a curve ball to what you've been reacting to as far as rock music. Bad ass beat that everyone bop their head to!
"Drones" and "Like the Angel" are my two favorite songs by them, highly recommend those. Of course I also recommend "Prayer of the Refugee", which is probably their most well known song besides "Savior".
who here thinks he should do Like A Stone by AdiuoSlave? i don’t have his patron but maybe y’all who do can request it i like this dude will go bonkers on the guitar solo? come on guys let’s make this happen🥺
Brenden Carte amazing song. Any song with Chris Cornell is impossible to hate he had such a natural quality to his voice, you can tell he hardly ever had to even try in order to make his voice sound outstanding
I absolutely love these reaction videos, I'm such a sucker for them. The absolute love of music truly knows no bounds, and stuff like this is a true testament to it. Music really is a universal language
I want to recommend, "from can to cant" sung by Corey Taylor from Slipknot. There you will also find, playing the guitar, Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters.
LayedBak...*sees rock music*...*clicks video*... i grew up on old school rap and hip-hop and my cousin introduced me to heavy metal when i was about 15 and ive been hooked since! Now my music taste goes from jazz, classic, blues, hip-hop to heavy metal, rock & roll...everything!
I would love to see a see a reaction to The HU "Wolf Totem" its a combination of Mongolian throat singing and modern hard rock. Now it is in Mongolian but its fucking awesome to listen to!
Gotta react to some Halestorm, I Miss the Misery or Love Bites (So Do I). Great female vocals and amazing sound. Love seeing people who mostly listen to rap/R&B enjoy some good Rock/Metal!
I've never seen one of your vids before, but rise against has been my favorite band since I was in high school. I loved seeing your reaction to one of my favorite songs of all time. P.S. I'm not sure if its accurate but I heard once that the different mascots were representative of political parties.
rise against pretty much fill up my favorites playlist. every one of their songs is worth a listen. some react suggestions: bullet for my vlentine- tears dont fall. a day to remember- all i want, right back at it again. linkin park-papercut. sum-41-still waiting. trust company-downfall
I like how you react to the guitar, the drums or the Voice, go along with it! Could you react to: Bullet For My Valentine - Don‘t Need you Would really see you reacting to this Song ! Greets from Poland !
